The Project Engineer plays a key role in helping the department achieve its strategic goals. This position leads cross‑functional teams to successfully launch and manage large-scale programs, ensuring all deliverables meet customer expectations, hit measurable targets, and align with company objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Leadership

• Lead cross-functional teams through all stages of new program development, integration, and execution—delivering on time and within budget.

• Assign tasks, organize sub-teams, and oversee day‑to‑day project activities.

• Maintain accountability for program parts after handoff to Operations, providing troubleshooting and guidance as needed.

Technical & Engineering Support

• Specifying, developing, validating, and installing new equipment and tooling

• Creating and maintaining FMEAs, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams

• Designing parts, fixtures, and layouts; producing CAD/CAM drawings; supporting CMM operations

• Applying appropriate GD&T and tolerance stack‑ups

• Selecting proper materials and managing outside processes

Program Tracking & Communication

• Maintain accurate program status reports, tracking technical performance, schedules, financials, and customer commitments.

• Identify risks, recommend solutions, and take corrective actions as needed.

• Participate in production and program status meetings, reporting updates clearly and effectively.

• Lead customer communication, including negotiation and ongoing relationship management.

• Identify and present new business opportunities with existing customers to company leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 5–10 years of proven program or project management experience in an advanced manufacturing environment.

• Experience in metalworking and CNC machining strongly preferred.

Technical Knowledge

• Contract manufacturing

• Special processing (heat treat, anodize, plating, etc.)

• Manufacturing operations and technical theory

• Machining theory, methods, and verification techniques

• Financial management concepts (cost/benefit, value analysis)

• Procurement and waste‑reduction practices

Skills & Abilities

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills

• Candidates must be eligible for access to ITAR-controlled items and materials. Proof of U.S. Citizenship or lawful permanent residency required

This role is critical in ensuring a seamless first impression for our patients while maintaining the integrity of our clinical data and financial records. Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Patient Welcome: Greet all patients and visitors in person or via phone using AIDET communication standards.
• Registration Accuracy: Obtain and verify accurate demographic and insurance information.
• Insurance Verification: Utilize Real Time Eligibility (RTE) or insurance websites to ensure active coverage.
• Workflow Management: Complete Epic Workqueues (WQs) daily and schedule walk-in testing as needed.
• Financial Stewardship: Collect patient co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances; perform daily cash reconciliation and drawer balancing.
• Collaborative Care: Coordinate with departments to follow protocols and utilize workstations on wheels (WOW) for bedside registration when necessary.
• Availability: Participate in on-call and holiday schedules as required by the facility.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required (1–2 years of college preferred).
• Experience: Previous experience in medical registration, billing, or administrative roles within a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-10, and/or CPT-4 coding is a plus.
• Certification: Certified Healthcare Associate Certification (CHAA) preferred.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build teamwork and maintain high standards of honesty and integrity.

Desired Skills/Experience

• Familiarity with SketchUp, Enscape, and other 3D rendering software tools.
• Proficency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management software (MS Project or similar).
• Experience managing multidiscipline project budgets and keeping projects on budget.
• Familiarity with MEP and Structural building systems and building codes is required.
• Experience in project management tools such as Procore, Autodesk Build, PlanGrid, and other software.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methods, and building codes.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Key Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years in the communications industry required.
• BICSI Technician certification preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of telecommunications, data, AV, network infrastructure cabling and components required.
• Maintain and reference industry standards including BICSI, ANSI, EIA/TIA, and local Low Voltage Code.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook or has the ability to learn technology and software.
• Skilled at reading and following blueprints and electrical schematics.
