Job Summary:

ICC Healthcare (Intensive Care Consortium) is seeking an acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia. Qualified Candidates:

• Acute care certified NP or Physician Assistant
• ICU experience preferred
• APP providers must be proficient with, and credentialed to perform routine Critical Care procedures including central and arterial line placement, intubations, dialysis catheter access, and management of mechanical ventilation.
• Ability to work Full Time, 15 shifts per month
• 12-hour shifts, Mix of Days and Nights, block scheduling
• 36 Bed ICU: Med/Surg and CVICU
• 24/7 ICU coverage ? 1 MD and 2 APPs during the day/ 1 MD and 1 APP at night

We are currently seeking an experienced Psychiatric and Substance Abuse Physician Assistant to perform initial and follow-up medication management assessments for clients who suffer from Psychiatric and/or Addictive symptoms. The Physician Assistant shall recommend and prescribe psychiatric and detox medications, when appropriate to clients through Tele Services and/or through direct face to face contact in an outpatient setting. The Physician Assistant should be comfortable with the patient population, function independently with minimal supervision by the Psychiatric and Buprenorphine waivered Physician.

Education and Experience Required: A bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university; be a licensed physician assistant with current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification and Buprenorphine waiver. 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN PYSCHIATRIC AND SUBSTANCE USE TREATMENT REQUIRED.
