What you’ll do:
This position provides comprehensive respiratory care, including assessment, treatment, and management of patients across all patient populations. Specialized care for neonates and pediatrics will be limited to respiratory therapists who have completed the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and PALS certification. Responsibilities include administering therapies, managing ventilators, and performing diagnostic procedures while following established protocols and best practices approved by the Medical Director. Functions as a lead/charge therapist, coordinating workflow and supporting staff to ensure quality and safe patient care.

CPR/BLS - American Heart Association
Current IL state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) through NBRC

Gottlieb's OR consists of 10 OR suites specializing in Orthopedics, Urology, Robotics, Bariatric, Eyes, Sports Medicine and General & Vascular Surgeries. Our RN's in the Operating Room are the eyes, ears, and heart of our patients. They work within a strong collaborative OR team consisting of Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Scrub Techs, and Team Leads.

Full Time Inpatient RN Case Manager - weekday shifts with minimal weekend and holiday requirements.
CARE COORDINATION: The Inpatient RN Care Manager works with the multidisciplinary team including physicians, staff, and payers to ensure patient's progress along the continuum of care in an efficient and cost effective manner that ensures quality outcomes. What you will do:

Provides direction, guidance, and support to staff members to ensure the safe and effective delivery of home therapy support care to patients with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD).
Oversees patient and caregiver readiness and ability to perform dialysis treatments at home and assesses environment for suitability in the ongoing delivery of home dialysis therapy, including training patients and caregivers on the safe and effective operation and preventative maintenance of equipment.
Manages patient experience efforts by supporting Unit's patient satisfaction initiatives, embodying the company values and patient experience drivers while encouraging others to do the same.
Ensures competency in the operation of all home dialysis therapy-related equipment, including the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems with the patient via telephone, maintaining appropriate staff licensures and CPR certifications.
Responsible for management of program supplies, equipment tracking, ensures that orders are replenished in a consistent and timely manner.
Directs activities related to the Continuous Quality Assurance Improvement, patient retention and Clinical Protocols Adoption, patient access management and patient training success.
Directs data entry related activities such as patient admission, regulatory reporting, billing, physician orders, lab results, vital signs, patient status and any other treatment related data into systems.
Ensures regulatory, compliance, and audit activities are accomplished on time.
Orients and supports all new home therapies staff and provides ongoing education, ensuring compliance with all risk management initiatives, including in-center staff.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
