- $35 an hour depending on experience We have openings on every shift Great benefits 401k Plenty of overtime available Well-ventilated facility Job Details Description The Inspector is committed to supporting our manufacturing team to continue to be the leader in extrusion die and feedblock quality and technology by using various gauges and other tolerance equipment to make sure machined parts are to specifications.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities Read prints to be able to inspect parts.
Inspect parts to ensure print tolerances are as expected.
Record inspection data as needed in a legible format.
Use required tolerance equipment and tools as necessary.
Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements At a minimum, the Inspector must have a high school diploma, or equivalent, along with 1-3 years of experience as an inspector and proven ability to read prints.
Trade school graduate along with prior Class 1 machinist or CNC Operator experience is highly preferred.
Knowledge, Abilities, & Skills for Success Effectively communicate in a positive and professional manner through written and verbal communications in all interfaces with customers/public, fellow employees, vendors, etc.
Ability to use appropriate computer programs (including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite) which includes having proficient computer skills and the ability to adapt and learn as programs and processes change.
Ability to work as a team member and exert initiative to work independently to reach a goal.
Ability to embrace change in the workplace while encouraging others to seek innovative approaches.
Ability to function effectively as a team player.
Ability to work a flexible work schedule, as needed, to best serve our business operations.
