This position will treat Same-Day/Walk-in patients, focusing on acute visits from nearby Primary Care offices - ensuring seamless access, reduced wait times, and optimized care coordination.

At least one year of previous Advanced Practitioner experience required.

Typical diagnoses include: Small bowel obstructions Respiratory infections Cellulitis Diverticulitis Pneumonia This unit offers strong opportunities to develop and strengthen core clinical skills including patient assessment, time management, and complex care coordination.

Nurses on 5E gain experience with medical patients who require frequent monitoring, thoughtful care planning, and multidisciplinary teamwork.

Overview: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.

Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.

Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.

Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.

This unit also specializes in bariatric surgery.

Medical Telemetry – 7E & 7W Care for patients with cellulitis, pneumonia, UTIs, chest pain, GI issues, COPD exacerbations, and medically stable COVID.

Continuous telemetry monitoring helps refine cardiac and rhythm‐interpretation skills.

Oncology – 8W Serves patients undergoing chemotherapy, cancer treatment, end‐of‐life care, and general medical patients.

Also supports neuro‐medical overflow as needed.

MHS is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this unique and life-changing career, couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students living in the home. Flex Houseparents play a vital role in creating a structured, family-like environment that fosters students’ academic, emotional, and social development so they can reach their full potential.

Responsibilities include:
