Review and analyze loan files, credit reports, income documents, asset statements, appraisals, and other pertinent documentation to assess creditworthiness and risk.
Work closely with loan officers, processors, and managers to ensure timely and accurate underwriting decisions.
Apply sound judgment and risk assessment on loan exceptions and escalate as appropriate.
Maintain high productivity while delivering consistent quality and meeting established service-level agreements (SLAs).
Ensure all loan decisions are documented clearly and accurately in Encompass and adhere to compliance and audit standards.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior underwriters and processing staff as needed.
Stay current on changes in investor guidelines, Non-QM and Jumbo product offerings, and industry regulations.
Qualifications 5+ years of recent mortgage underwriting experience, strongly focusing on Jumbo and Non-QM products.
Expertise in high-volume underwriting environments, managing a large pipeline efficiently without sacrificing quality.
Proficiency in Encompass loan origination software is required.
DE (Direct Endorsement) or LAPP/SAR certifications are a plus, but not required.
Deep understanding of investor guidelines, credit and risk assessment, and compliance requirements (TRID, RESPA, ATR/QM, etc.).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

As a Home Health Aide (HHA), you’ll work 1-on-1 with your clients inside their homes, and support them with the following types of activities:
