The ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive, critical care to patients in the intensive care unit. • Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families, addressing concerns and ensuring understanding
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in adherence to nursing standards
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ conditions, documenting changes and reporting concerns to the care team
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures, assist physicians during treatments, and monitor patient responses

• Titrate high-alert vasoactive drips and manage invasive monitoring like arterial and central lines.
• Manage complex mechanical ventilation, including troubleshooting, ABG analysis, and weaning protocols.
