Salary:
$32.00 - $36.00 / hour
Trains patients and care partners on self-care home hemodialysis (HHD) or peritoneal dialysis (PD) techniques, equipment use, infection control, and emergency procedures. Home Dialysis nurses will also conduct home visits to assess the environment and ensure safety and compliance. Home Dialysis nurses will also be required to take on call responsibilities for patient and care partner support during and after office hours, and on holidays. Performs the nursing process in a safe therapeutic manner in a designated clinical setting. Provides direct patient care (HHD/CAPD/CCPD) and monitoring of renal dialysis patients. Coordinates home dialysis activities within the frame work of the Federal Regulations, State and Local End Stage Renal Disease Network. Supports and adheres to University Health and department specific policies and standards. Receives mentoring from the Patient Care Coordinator and Director of Dialysis Services.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Registered nurse who has at least 2 years of experience as an RN, and six months experience in the specific home dialysis modality. BSN is highly preferred. Must meet career ladder Staff Nurse II criteria for specialty area worked. National Certification in Dialysis is preferred. Must have current American Heart Association, Basic Cardiac Life Support and Healthcare Provider card.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
Must be a Registered Nurse currently licensed in the state of Texas.
Serves as a clinical expert, educator, and mentor for assigned area. Functions in a team environment to provide support to clinical practice.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
BSN is required. A national certification is preferred. Minimum of two years of full-time nursing experience required, five years preferred. Certified Diabetic Educator (CDE) must be obtained within two years of employment. Formal training in diabetes education and/or recent experience for three years in inpatient or outpatient care of diabetes is required. Demonstrated teaching experience and knowledge of adult education principles, ability to deliver and evaluate adult education programs. Experience with continuous glucose monitoring systems and as a pump trainer considered an asset. As a dedicated Injury Adjuster, you will work within defined guidelines and framework, responsible to adjust non-attorney involved soft tissue bodily injury to include confirming coverage, determining liability, investigating, evaluating, negotiating, defending, and settling claims in compliance with state laws and regulations. Accountable for delivering a concierge level of best in class member service through setting appropriate expectations, proactive communications, advice, and compassion.
This hybrid role requires an individual to be in the office 3 days per week. This position will be based out of the following locations: San Antonio, TX; Chesapeake, VA; Colorado Springs, CO; Phoenix, AZ; and Tampa, FL. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
What you'll do:
Identifies and handles existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.
Follows written risk and compliance policies, standards, and procedures for business activities.
Adjusts non-attorney involved soft tissue bodily injury claims, as well as all auto physical damage associated with those claims.
Identifies, confirms, and makes coverage decisions on soft tissue claims.
Investigates loss details, determines legal liability, evaluates, negotiates, and arrives at claim settlement within appropriate authority guidelines.
Clearly documents thought process, investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and settlement decisions.
Provides advice and sets expectations into next steps to members.
Collaborates and supports team members to resolve issues and identify appropriate matters for escalation.
Partners and/or directs vendors and internal business partners to facilitate timely claims resolution.
Supports workload surges and/or Catastrophe Operations as needed.
What you have:
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
1 year of injury adjusting or auto liability adjusting experience to include highly complex vehicle physical damage, such as multi-vehicle, non-owned vehicles, or total loss claims.
Working knowledge and understanding of the auto claims contract as well as application of case and state laws and regulations.
Acquisition and maintenance of insurance adjuster license within 90 days and designated number of attempts.

1 year auto physical damage or total loss experience.

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is: $57,970 - $103,870.

The Opportunity
As an Intermediate Teller you will be accountable for delivering superior and prompt customer service by performing transactions as requested on a variety of banking services through the lobby and/or drive thru in alignment with defined guidelines and process. What you'll do:
Works under general supervision and is accountable for delivering outstanding customer service in performing a variety of basic banking services though lobby and/or drive thru.
Resolves member issues and/or complaints in a professional manner; collaborates with team members to resolve issues and to identify appropriate issues for customer concern and seeks management assistance as needed.
Follows operational processes, procedures, and requirements and applies their job experience to carry out moderately complex work assignments, like estate accounts and special endorsements.
Maintains low error ratio, teller cash drawer limits and remains within cash outage allowance.
Identifies new and emerging fraud transactions and provides accurate, timely communication to management to mitigate loss.
Responds to and advises member inquiries on product features and services.
Recognizes and refers potential product needs and self-service opportunities.
Maintains and adheres to all policies, regulations, guidelines, and procedures applicable to Teller Operations (i.e. Patriot Act - Anti-money Laundering, Regulation CC, OFAC, etc.).
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma required.
1 year of customer service experience as a teller, in financial services, or retail sales environment.
General math and calculator skills with the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
Strong organizational, and communication, and customer service skills.
Basic knowledge of applicable banking regulations, guidelines, and procedures.
