Summary:

This position is responsible for the operation of provider practices usually consisting of 2-4 providers with 6-10 FTEs or at two different sites. Summary:

With minimum supervision performs EEGs, Nerve Conduction Studies, EMGs, and related exams within the department. The EEG Tech Senior is also responsible for the physician billing for the department.     • Nocturnal SpO2 evaluation (Desaturation Studies);
    • Polysomnography;
    • Transport duties.

Job Requirements:

Education/Skills

  • See licensure and/or certification requirements

Experience

  • 1 - 3 years of experience preferred

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

  • RT or RCP License in state of employment required
  • BLS required
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC required

In accordance with the CHRISTUS Health License, Certification and Registration Verification Policy, all Associates are required to obtain the required certifications for their respective positions within the designated time frame.
