The Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care in a telemetry unit, focusing on continuous cardiac monitoring and assessment. This role encompasses evaluating patient health, implementing specialized care plans, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals with cardiac conditions. • Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and other telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond appropriately
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, with a focus on cardiac care
• Prepares equipment and aids physician during cardiac-related procedures and examinations
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients
• Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of patient's cardiac status and response to interventions
• Responds to life-saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocols specific to cardiac emergencies
• Documents nursing history and physical assessment for assigned telemetry patients

We are currently seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to join a growing healthcare team in Tulsa, OK. This is a direct hire opportunity offering a stable schedule and the chance to work in a collaborative laboratory environment supporting high-complexity diagnostic testing.

Compensation

Pay Range: $29.90 – $44.00 per hour

Schedule

Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Occasional late Fridays
• No weekends
• No holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-complexity laboratory testing according to established procedures
• Receive and process specimens while verifying labeling and specimen integrity
• Analyze results and identify abnormal findings for follow-up testing
• Maintain laboratory documentation and testing logs
• Support blood component processing and inventory management
• Maintain compliance with laboratory quality and safety standards
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure timely turnaround times

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related Biological/Chemical Science
• ASCP or AMT Certification (Required)
• Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience performing high-complexity testing

Provides skilled direct patient care (dialysis) and monitoring of renal dialysis patients.

Operates all renal dialysis equipment and recognizes changes in the renal patient's condition while on dialysis.

Administers medications and access hemodialysis catheters for the patient care techs as assigned.

Three years recent experience in general patient care and successful completion of 3 months probation period is required.

Verification of course completion in accordance with all American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support and Health Care Provider guidelines is required.
