The Surface Based Effector Production Department is searching for a Sr. Principal Guidance Section Systems Integrator role on a complex missile program that is critical for our national defense and has near unlimited growth potential. The Systems Integrator role will work closely with all disciplines associated with missile production including Program Management, Chief Engineers, Quality, Supply Chain and Production Operations to ensure the technical integrity of our products is maintained and performs as intended every time. The Systems Integrator’s broad knowledge base will be used to lead and/or support failure investigations, obsolescence redesigns, factory escapes, supplier issues and much more. The ability to calmly but quickly review and analyze information, separate fact from fiction and make decisions and/or recommendations is critical in this role. The Systems Integrator also provides both technical guidance and supervision in meeting project commitments. Allocating time to mentor newer engineers is also key to the success of the team and program.
What You Will Do:
- Support integration and test efforts of the All Up Round and related subassemblies for the SM-6 programs
- Provide technical oversight of failure investigations
- Support component level design and test reviews
- Work environment is primarily in an office, but may include labs, field work, or a combination
- Work with suppliers and customers for procuring and demonstrating capabilities in lab or field environments.

Qualifications You Must Have:

This role is primarily responsible for maintaining mechanical Technical Data Package (TDP) configuration changes, driving producibility updates, supporting failure investigations, supporting alternate component and material evaluations and testing, providing support across the full spectrum of mechanical, environmental, structural, and thermal engineering disciplines. What You Will Do
Serve as the mechanical engineer to support documentation, mechanical, environmental, structural, and thermal aspects of different stack configurations.
Contribute to a small team of mechanical production REAs supporting mechanical production and development efforts, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with program objectives.
Oversee and manage all mechanical, slice and stack TDP configuration changes, ensuring updates address producibility improvements, yield optimization, and design enhancements.
Lead efforts to analyze and incorporate producibility updates into designs to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce production defects.
Support failure investigations, conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions to resolve systemic mechanical issues.
Provide technical guidance on mechanical design, analysis, and integration challenges, ensuring compliance with program requirements and performance specifications.
Drive design for manufacturability (DFM) practices and lead efforts to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities in mechanical assemblies.

Maritime Strike Tomahawk is a highly dynamic development program in which you will be contributing directly to the requirements development and decomposition of complex subsystems as well as developing the verification approach. As a Systems Engineer you will collaborate with other Engineering disciplines to help define requirements, interfaces, subsystem behavior, and subsystems integration into the overall system. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining SE Artifacts. This role will see a wide spectrum of the development lifecycle from requirement development, qualification/verification, and fleet deployment support. Additionally, this role will include Control Account Manager (CAM) duties. As the CAM, you will be directly accountable for the detailed planning, scheduling, and budgeting of the authorized scope of work for each assigned Control Account. This position is on site; no remote work is available.
What You Will Do
Earned Value Management (EVM): Monitoring and reporting on earned value, cost performance, and schedule adherence to ensure project objectives are met. Plan and track tasks and milestones within an Integrated Master Schedule
Develop, maintain, and improve system and subsystem requirements, interfaces, behaviors and architecture
Perform requirements flow down / allocation and traceability along with development of the Requirements Verification Matrix
Utilize a variety of enabling technologies such as Cameo Model Based Systems Engineering and DOORS for Requirement Management
Facilitate technical discussions with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across multiple engineering disciplines to identify and formulate plans of action, trades or analysis
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline, and a minimum of eight (8) years of prior relevant experience.
Experience writing, decomposing and tracing requirements, and/or performing trade studies to optimize system performance
Experience with military systems; tactics, techniques, and procedures along with DoD customer infrastructure experience
Experience with Systems Engineering Product Development Cycle
Experience with system safety, reliability, and configuration management
