American Hospice and Home Health Services is currently seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Speech Therapist / Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to service any combination of these counties:

We offer per-visit pay in addition to hourly or salary options depending on experience.

The Speech Therapist is responsible for evaluating, planning, implementing, and monitoring speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive therapy services for home health patients. You will coordinate with nursing, physicians, caregivers, and other therapy staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Essential Job Functions / Responsibilities
Evaluation & Assessment
1. Perform comprehensive speech, language, voice, swallowing, and cognition assessments in the patient’s home.
2. Review medical records, labs, diagnostics, and collaborate with nursing to incorporate patient history.
3. Evaluate the home environment to support therapy success (safety, assistive devices, caregiver support).
4. Identify patient, family, and caregiver needs, preferences, and goals.
Treatment Planning & Implementation
1. Develop individualized, measurable therapy plans aligned with patient goals, family input, and physician orders.
2. Provide direct skilled therapy (speech, language, swallowing, cognitive) to patients.
3. Adjust therapy plans based on patient response and progress.
4. Instruct and train caregivers on carryover strategies and home exercises.
5. Coordinate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, OT, PT, CNAs) to align therapy with overall care plan using google workspace applications and EMR system, known as HomeHealthMD .
Documentation & Compliance
1. Complete evaluations, treatment notes, progress notes, re-evaluations, and discharge documentation per agency policy and regulatory timelines (48 hours).
2. Document all therapy contacts, missed sessions, cancellations, and outcomes accurately.
3. Record therapy elements that support billing, justification, and compliance.
4. Communicate changes in patient status or plan to physicians and care team.
Communication & Collaboration
1. Participate in care team meetings, case discussions, and interdisciplinary conferences.
2. Report therapeutic findings, recommendations, and concerns to physicians, nursing, and leadership.
3. Provide clear, respectful, and timely communication with patients, families, caregivers, and staff.
Additional Duties
1. May cover on-call therapy as needed according to agency policy if both parties agree.
2. Assist in scheduling, travel coordination, and therapy resource management.
3. Maintain continuing education and fulfill licensure / competency requirements.
Licenses & Requirements
1. Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in California
2. Minimum 1 year of experience in home health therapy, outpatient, hospital, or similar setting preferred
3. Certification with ASHA (CCC-SLP) or relevant credential
4. Current CPR / BLS certification
5. Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and appropriate insurance
6. Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Responsibilities
What you will do: Responsibilities listed include but not limited to:
- Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Regularly re-assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences

Qualifications
What you will need:
- Minimum of bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from a college or university with accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current, unrestricted license as Physical Therapist by state in which practicing
- Current Basic Life Support or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification in accordance state regulations
- A minimum of one year's work experience as a physical therapist preferred
- Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
- Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Moving, lifting, or transferring of patients which may involve lifting of up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
- Duties require fine motor skills,visual acuity, and walking/ standing for extended periods
- Additional physical requirements include: pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently at times

The Stationary Engineer routinely interfaces with customers to gather information on work requests, provide status updates and to ensure that customers are satisfied with completed tasks.

The Stationary Engineer meets or exceeds all federal, state or local laws, organizational performance standards, and requirements of all regulatory agencies and authorities having jurisdiction (e.g.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES All work shall be performed in a safe and effective manner, in compliance with all codes and regulations, and shall be completely and accurately documented in the CMMS database.
Operate, inspect, test and maintain the hospital’s central utility plant systems and equipment, including but not limited to: emergency and normal power electrical branch distribution systems, medical gas distribution and alarm systems, steam boilers, cooling towers, HVAC systems (including minimum air changes and positive/negative pressure requirements), pneumatic tube transport system Operate, inspect, test, maintain and properly document the maintenance of healthcare facilities fire/life safety systems and equipment, including but not limited to: fire doors and barriers, emergency communication systems, fire sprinklers, smoke detectors, etc.
Operate, inspect, test and maintain site specific building systems, equipment and patient related devices, including but not limited to refrigerators, gurneys, ice machines.
Perform and properly document regular inspections of healthcare facility buildings, physical/central utility plant systems and equipment to proactively identify and correct abnormal conditions.
Repair mechanical, electrical, low voltage, plumbing, pneumatic, carpentry, hydraulic, communication, lighting systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve a variety of problems under normal and abnormal conditions.
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, operations and maintenance manuals and other documents to determine proper operation.
Evaluate new equipment and report findings to appropriate departments.
Install: electrical, lighting, communication, plumbing and HVAC systems.
May be required to work in emergency situations during off hours and weekends.
Upon qualification, is required to participate in after-hours standby rotation Perform other duties as assigned.

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a ICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Fairfield, California. Required Qualifications:
- One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
- TNCC, NIHSS certification
- Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
Summary:
The ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive, critical care to patients in the intensive care unit. This role encompasses assessing and monitoring critically ill patients, operating life-support equipment, administering advanced treatments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. The position requires strong critical care skills, advanced clinical judgment, excellent communication, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and professional ethics in high-acuity settings.
Essential Work Functions:
- Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to subtle changes in patient condition
- Administer complex medications and treatments in accordance with approved critical care nursing techniques
- Operate and manage advanced life support equipment
- Ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU environments, addressing physical and emotional needs
- Record significant conditions, reactions, and interventions, notifying the appropriate provider of changes in patient status
- Perform and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring, including arterial lines, central venous pressure, and pulmonary artery catheters
- Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record in a timely manner to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide education to patients and families regarding the ICU environment, treatments, and recovery expectations
- Communicate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care
- Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures and technologies through ongoing education and training
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols to protect immunocompromised patients and reduce risks
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance ICU patient outcomes and operational efficiency
- Perform other duties as assigned within scope
- Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
Required Essential Skills:
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
- Physical Abilities - Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
- Interpersonal Skills - Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalism
- Technical/Motor Skills - Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Mental Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail
- Sensory - Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
