Qualifications You qualify for the GL-5 grade level if you possess one of the following: Experience: One (1) year of general work experience that demonstrates the ability to take charge, make sound decisions, and maintain composure in stressful situations; to learn regulations, methods, and techniques through classroom training and/or on-the-job instruction; and the ability to gather concise information through questioning, observation, and examination of documents and records; A bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; A combination of general work experience AND successfully completed college education.

Job Description Hematology/Oncology Physicians would practice at our main campus in Urbana with one day work per week at one of Carles Hematology/Oncology satellite locations.
Training and interest in both Hematology and Oncology are required.
The physician will be able to specialize in his/her area of interest in oncology.
Board eligibility for the new graduates and board certification in both hematology and oncology are required.

Mentorship for new graduates will be provided.
Hematology/Oncology Physician would work with nine (9) other Oncologists in the practice.
The practices main location is in Urbana, IL with several satellite locations in the East Central Illinois.
The practice has radiation oncology, surgical oncology, gynecologic oncology and breast surgery at Carle Cancer Institute with colorectal surgery, interventional radiology, urology, neurosurgery, head and neck surgery, and thoracic surgery at Hospital.
EPIC electronic medical record is utilized.
