This role is remote eligible in the continental U.S. with occasional business travel. However, individuals residing within a 60-mile radius of a USAA office will be expected to work on-site four days per week. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
Performs complex work assignments utilizing actuarial modeling software driven models for pricing, valuation, and/or risk management.
Reviews laws and regulations to ensure all processes are compliant; and provides recommendations for improvements and monitors industry communications regarding potential changes to existing laws and regulations.
Runs models, generates reports, and presents recommendations and detailed analysis of all model runs to Actuarial Leadership.
Shares knowledge with team members and serves as a resource to team on escalated issues and navigates obstacles to deliver work product.
Leads or participates as a key resource on moderately complex projects through concept, planning, execution, and implementation phases with minimal guidance, involving cross functional actuarial areas.
Develops exhibits and reports that help explain proposals/findings and provides information in an understandable and usable format for stakeholders.
Identifies and provides recommended solutions to business problems independently, often presenting recommendation to leadership.
Maintains proper price level, price structure, data availability and other requirements to achieve profitability and competitive goals.
Tests impact of assumptions by identifying sources of gain and loss, the appropriate premiums, interest margins, reserves, and cash values for profitability and viability of new and existing products.
Advises management on issues and serves as a primary resource for their individual team members on escalated issues.
Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
Bachelor’s degree OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree. (Total of 8 years of experience without bachelor’s degree)

~ OR 8 years relevant actuarial experience and attainment of Associate within the Society of Actuaries. (Bachelor’s Degree + 8 years of experience + ASA)
~ OR 8 years relevant actuarial or analytical experience and attainment of Fellow within the Society of Actuaries (FSA)
~ OR 12 years relevant actuarial or analytical experience and attainment of Associate within the Society of Actuaries (ASA)
~ Experience performing complex work assignments utilizing actuarial modeling software driven models for pricing, valuation, and/or risk management.
~ Demonstrated experience communicating complex actuarial analysis and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.

The Division of Nephrology at Phoenix Children’s is ranked #39 by US News and World Report and is the largest pediatric nephrology program in the Southwest. Our group includes 11 board certified nephrologists and a nurse practitioner, delivering care across six satellite locations in the Valley, as well as in Flagstaff and Yuma. FAMILY MEDICINE PHYSICIAN

VWH is an ambulatory care system of ten community health centers including Family Medicine services. The VWH system primarily serves a safety-net population and offers a full scope clinical practice and teaching opportunities. VWH is the Phoenix area's only public teaching health system. (DMG), a 450+ physician not-for-profit faculty group practice exclusively contracting to provide clinical, administrative, and teaching services to VWH and includes all major medical and surgical specialties and subspecialties.

District Medical Group Inc. (DMG) is one of the largest multi-specialty practices in Metropolitan Phoenix and in conjunction with Valleywise Health Medical Center (VHMC), is seeking a full time Board Certified/Eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist.
VHMC is a full-service hospital with a Level 1 Trauma/Burn Center. The hospital is committed to top notch pediatric care and has a Pediatric ED, NICU, PICU and Pediatric Acute Care Unit. There is also a very robust FQHC Ambulatory Clinic with general pediatric and subspecialty services adjacent to the hospital and additional ambulatory FQHCs providing pediatric primary care around the city.
The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge of pediatric GI disorders; demonstrated skills in the full gamut of pediatric GI endoscopic and other procedures; excellent teaching and education skills, and strong communication and team skills.
DMG will consider both practicing physicians and newly graduated Fellows. DMG will also consider candidates requiring visa sponsorship (J-1 waiver and/or H1B).
Spanish language proficiency would be beneficial, but not required. DMG is a non-profit multi-specialty physician group committed to providing clinical services to the underserved population of Maricopa County. VHMC is a teaching institution which hosts 9 residency programs for which DMG physicians are core faculty. The Pediatric Residency is shared with Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Obstetrician/Gynecologist Generalist
An immediate opportunity is available with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of District Medical Group (DMG), practicing at Valleywise Health Medical Center (formerly Maricopa Medical Center). Valleywise Health is opening a new 240-bed teaching hospital affiliated with Creighton University School of Medicine. The new hospital is designated as a state-of-the-art Level 1 Trauma and Regional Burn Center.
Valleywise Health co-sponsors nine residency programs affiliated through the Creighton Arizona Health Education Alliance and Phoenix Children’s Hospital and is well situated in central Phoenix. The position would include employment through DMG, a 400+ multi-specialty group exclusively contracted to provide patient care and teaching. This position will support the educational initiatives of the OB/GYN department’s associated teaching programs.
