Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency care across all acuity levels
- Supervise and collaborate with APCs
- Manage admissions and place admitting orders
- Respond to floor codes as required
- Coordinate transfers when higher-level care is needed
- Deliver efficient, patient-centered care in a community setting
Provider Requirements
- Board Certification:
- ABEM, AOBEM, ABIM, or ABFM
- Must be board certified or become certified within 5 years of residency completion
- Licensure: Active Ohio medical license
- Certifications Required:
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- ATLS (required for all non–EM boarded physicians, including EM board eligible)
- NRP required for all physicians
- Experience: Comfortable practicing independently in a moderate-acuity ED
- Availability: Must be open to both day and night shifts
