Summary:

The competent Nurse, in the same or similar clinical setting, practices independently and demonstrates an awareness of all relevant aspects of a situation. Responsibilities:

• Using the appropriate protocol, administers medications and treatments; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness of the treatment prescribed.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
• Assess learning needs and provides education to patients, family members and/or care givers; identify issues and resources.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently, following traffic laws and regulations, and adhering to hours-of-service requirements
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured, and managing paperwork related to shipments
• Collect delivery instructions from dispatcher, verifying instructions and routes
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report maintenance issues, and perform routine maintenance tasks
• Communicate with dispatchers and customers, maintain accurate trip logs, and document deliveries
• Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
• Transport non-hazardous and hazardous materials in accordance with applicable guidelines, DOT, and company safety procedures
• Perform industrial work and biohazard cleanups
• Assist in the removal of soil, debris, and cleanup of spill sites

Position Summary:

Drivers are primarily responsible for the daily distribution of dairy/frozen products to our customers in and around the Dallas, TX area. It is the driver's responsibility to successfully manage the loading and unloading of the products.

Drivers must comply with all FMCSA regulations at all times during their employment. The company also requires that all employees perform all tasks in a safe manner, including safety of others, consistent with corporate policies and state, federal and transportation laws.

Essential Job Functions:

• Build long term relationships with customers by delivering excellence in customer service.
• Responsible for maintaining clean, safe, operating condition of assigned vehicles and equipment
• Keep license and other mandatory documentation up to date
• Inspect trucks and reports to management if any problem (at the beginning and at the end of every shift)
