We are seeking an experienced RN leader for a Director of Case Management opportunity at a large, high-volume acute care hospital in the Bradenton, FL area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic, results-driven leader to oversee a well-established Case Management and Social Work department within a 383-bed Level II Trauma facility.
Position Overview
The Director of Case Management is responsible for overall leadership, coordination, and operational performance of the department. This executive-level leader ensures compliance with hospital policies, regulatory agencies, and industry standards while optimizing patient care coordination and discharge planning processes.
This individual partners closely with executive leadership, including the Division Director of Case Management and CFO, and serves as a key driver for Length of Stay (LOS) management, care coordination excellence, and clinical resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and evaluate all case management department operations
- Oversee staffing models, skill mix, FTE allocation, onboarding, and competencies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies
- Lead care coordination and discharge planning processes
- Improve LOS performance and optimize resource utilization
- Analyze operational metrics and implement sustainable improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with CMO, CNO, ancillary service leaders, Compliance, and Legal
- Supervise 10+ FTEs including Case Managers and Social Workers
- Provide executive-level communication and presentations
Required Qualifications

Job Summary and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of switchboard designers and engineers
- Oversee engineering design activities for low-voltage switchboards, junction boxes, busways, and related electrical assemblies
- Drive continuous improvement in product design, quality, reliability, and manufacturability
- Review and approve design packages, one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Establish and maintain engineering standards aligned with UL, NEC, NFPA, ANSI, and IEEE codes
- Collaborate with manufacturing, testing, and product support teams to support project execution
- Support new product development initiatives and emerging technologies
- Partner with leadership to plan engineering capacity and prioritize projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in switchgear or switchboard design
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and switchgear components
- Understanding of industry standards including UL, NEC, NFPA, ANSI, and IEEE
- Ability to lead engineering teams and manage multiple priorities

This role works closely with engineering, production, and sales teams to develop proposals, analyze costs, and support bid strategy.

Key Responsibilities
- Review blueprints, specifications, and bid documents to prepare time, material, and labor estimates
- Develop competitive quotations and proposals for switchgear and electrical equipment projects
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure designs align with manufacturing capabilities
- Issue RFQs to vendors and suppliers, evaluate pricing, and recommend cost-effective alternatives
- Partner with sales teams to support bid strategy and clarify customer requirements
- Identify value engineering opportunities to improve cost efficiency while maintaining quality
- Maintain cost databases, supplier pricing, and bid documentation
- Track open quotes and assist with transition from awarded project to production
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering, construction, business, or related field OR relevant experience in electrical estimating, quotations, or project coordination
- 2+ years of experience in electrical distribution, switchgear, or manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and bid packages
- Strong analytical, math, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP/MRP or estimating software experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with sales teams, suppliers, and customers
