BayCare Medical Group is a physician-led medical group is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our multidisciplinary team at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida . The ideal candidate will manage complex GI, hepatobiliary, and nutritional disorders in children—from infancy through adolescence—across inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings
The details of the position include:
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric GI conditions, including IBS, IBD, celiac disease, reflux, hepatology, nutritional disorders, and motility issues.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures: upper/lower GI endoscopy, polypectomy, foreign body removal, liver biopsies, G-tube placements, motility studies.
- Provide comprehensive inpatient consultation and manage ambulatory clinics in both main and satellite locations.
- Collaborate with dietitians, surgeons, psychologists, hepatologists, primary care providers, and allied health professionals.
- Engage in education—mentoring pediatric residents.
- Provide on-call coverage 1:3 for emergencies, including foreign body ingestion, GI bleeding, and liver crises.
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with documentation, billing, and regulatory standards.

- Proficient in pediatric endoscopy and procedural care.
- Experience with IBD, hepatology, nutritional rehab/motility preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to counsel children and families.

Overview
AdventHealth West Florida Division Women's Services Institute is seeking a Medical Director. The director's medical specialty can be OB/Gyn, Maternal Fetal Medicine or Urogynecology. This leadership role will be 60% administrative and 40% clinical time.
PRIMARY FUNCTION : Physician shall provide clinical direction, oversight, and physician leadership to all Ob/Gyn practices in West Florida.
In collaboration with AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) leadership, addresses clinical, behavior or operational concerns with providers raised by other providers, patients or staff
Works with AHMG leadership regarding short and long term planning of physician and APP staffing
Establish and implement standard clinical protocols, policies and procedures, in accordance with ACOG guidelines, for the delivery of patient care. Ensure protocols are consistently practiced across the group. Educate and correct practices that deviate.
Focus on the effective delivery of patient care services offered by the Practice and the Practice’s compliance with the standards of applicable accrediting bodies and regulatory agencies having jurisdiction over one or more aspects of the Practice
Reasonably participate with AHMG Leadership in its investigation of patient complaints and/or claims related to the stated practices
Advise AHMG leadership relating to the purchase of clinical supplies, materials, and equipment necessary to practice according to the established clinical protocols
Serves as a mentor to new physicians added to AHMG Ob/Gyn practices.
Cooperate and participate with Employer in order to establish a “consumer-centric” environment and assist Employer in the management and resolution of complaints from patients and Medical Staff;
Make or direct the making of such reports and records as may be required by regulatory bodies, whether public or private, and by Employer;
Assist in the design and development of patient information, medical record, and consent forms for use within the Practice
Provide recommendations for in-service training of practice staff to support clinical outcomes.
Advise on the provision of inpatient services for hospitals with Women's Services and establish quality standards.
Partner with business development to provide input on growth strategies for OBGYN service lines.

AdventHealth Tampa is recruiting 2 board certified, experienced Urologist to Advent Health Medical Group for a new Urology practice in Tampa, FL. AdventHealth Tampa has 626 beds and is the Tertiary Center for the West Florida Division. A bread and butter, robotically trained Urologist is needed to serve the community's unmet demand. DaVinci XI robots and an SP robot are available at the hospital.
The new Taneja Center has added 18 state-of-the-art operating rooms, 6 additional to be added at a later date, 96 private patient rooms upon opening and 36 more to be added at a later date. This is a 314K square foot, 6 floor expansion that brings more innovative and compassionate health care to our community. AdventHealth is the only system in the Tampa Bay to receive straight A's for all of our hospitals.

- Board certification in Urology
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience preferred
- Prior leadership or administrative experience strongly preferred
- Robotic surgery training required

Practice Description
The West Florida Division Medical Group continues to grow rapidly to meet the needs of the communities we serve. Over the last six years, we’ve nearly tripled in size with a projection to grow to 835 providers by the end of 2025. With the addition of AdventHealth Port Charlotte, we span a broad geography in eight counties, with practices in Charlotte, Hardee, Highlands, Hillsborough, Marion, Pasco, Pinellas and Polk counties as well as five Care Pavilions.
