About the Role

We are supporting a large, high-profile semiconductor manufacturing project in Taylor, TX and are seeking experienced Construction Coordinators, Project Coordinators, and Project Managers with tool hook-up and cleanroom experience. This is a fast-paced, highly technical environment where coordination, communication, and attention to detail are critical to success.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the successful installation, coordination, and turnover of semiconductor tools by working closely with construction teams, vendors, engineers, and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support semiconductor tool hook-up activities, including mechanical, electrical, gas, chemical, and exhaust systems
• Interface with tool vendors, subcontractors, facilities teams, and client representatives
• Track schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure on-time tool installation and readiness
• Support field execution, issue resolution, and daily coordination activities on site
• Review and manage documentation such as drawings, RFIs, change orders, and installation plans
• Monitor safety, quality, and compliance with site and client standards
• Provide regular status updates and reports to project leadership
• For Project Manager–level candidates: own scope, budget tracking, risk management, and stakeholder communication

Required Qualifications

• Experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing projects, preferably in tool installation or tool hook-up
• Background in construction coordination, project coordination, or project management
• Strong understanding of cleanroom environments and semiconductor facilities
• Ability to work onsite in Taylor, TX
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with project tracking tools (Excel, MS Project, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale fab projects (logic or memory)

How will you make an impact?

We are looking for a Principal Thermal Rack Engineer within the Intelligent Infrastructure Segment to drive advanced cooling solutions for high-performance computing systems. This role involves incorporating thermal components such as direct liquid cooling (DLC) systems, coolant distribution units (CDUs), and manifolds into network and server racks (EIA 19” and ORv3). You will leverage CFD tools to perform rack and system-level thermal and fluid analysis, ensuring optimal flow distribution, pressure drop, and temperature performance. Additionally, you will create 3D CAD designs for seamless hardware integration, lead validation testing, and resolve thermal or flow issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, customers, and global vendors is essential to align thermal architectures with overall system design and international standards.

What will you do?

• Lead the end-to-end integration and testing of rack thermal solutions, including liquid cooling systems in varying form factors and product lines.
• Use CFD tools (FloTherm or Macroflow) to perform switch, rack, and system-level thermal/fluid analysis (flow distribution, pressure drop, and temperature profiling).
• Design and optimize thermal components using 3D CAD (Creo or SolidWorks) to support seamless hardware integration and testing.
• Participate in customer engagements and site visits to understand and document deployment constraints and gather feedback for design improvements.
• Partner with factory teams to ensure racks are built with proper airflow, hose routing, and thermal safeguards, while establishing best practices that improve build consistency across deployments.
• Collaborate with Architects/Compliance/Reliability and global vendors to align thermal architectures with total system design and international data center/thermal/mechanical standards (e.g., UL, OCP, ASHRAE, ISTA, ASTM, NEBS).
• Conduct thermal, mechanical, and reliability testing, analyzing airflow, coolant flow rates, pressure drops, and structural integrity to ensure compliance with the end-users’ specifications.
• Develop and maintain design documentation including BOMs, wetted materials compliance, test plans, and engineering change orders (ECOs).
• Manage relationships with mechanical/thermal component vendors to build out a robust partner ecosystem consisting of racks, CDUs, hoses, manifolds, QDs, and cold plates.
• Ensure mechanical designs support airflow management, thermal containment, and integration with cooling systems (e.g., in-row cooling, in-rack cooling, rear door heat exchangers).
• Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for mechanical and thermal failures or field issues.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

How will you get here?

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Thermal Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field is required

Experience:

• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in thermal/mechanical systems integration
• 3+ years of specific experience in rack-scale thermal design and analysis
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, integration strategies, and large-scale program management
• Familiarity with server design, heatsinks, cold plates, hoses, and blind-mate connectors
• Proficiency in CFD simulation (e.g. ANSYS, 6Sigma, etc.) and 3D modeling software (e.g. SolidWorks, Creo)
• Hands-on experience with thermal chambers, fans, and coolant
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) with strong technical leadership capabilities

Duties and Responsibilities

As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA) you will perform aviation-based law enforcement operations for the detection, prevention, interdiction, and apprehension of terrorists, terrorist weapons, and other contraband and persons from illegally entering or attacking the United States. Typical duties include:

• Conducting air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities related to the interdiction of smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels.

Salary and Benefits

Qualifications

Experience:You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized professional aviation experience performing duties such as:

• Flying as a Pilot-in-Command or sole manipulator in an airplane and helicopter in all environments of flight, including night, poor weather, unfavorable terrain, low altitudes, or speed.
• Evaluating information rapidly and making judicious decisions promptly during in-flight operations.

Hiring Minimums:

Certification & Ratings: A current FAA Commercial or ATP Pilot Certification with one of the following ratings:

• Dual Rated: Airplane (Single-engine land or multi-engine land) with instrument rating AND Rotorcraft Helicopter with instrument rating.
• Airplane Rated: Airplane (Single-engine land or multi-engine land) with instrument.
• Helicopter Rated: Rotorcraft Helicopter with instrument rating.
• Equivalent military rating of the above at the time of application (eligibility based on military flight experience must provide official orders, forms or logbooks showing their status as a rated military pilot).

Flight Hours: Pilot Enter on Duty minimums are 1500 flight hours; (up to 500 hours can be waived, reducing the pilot enter on duty minimums to 1000 hours.

250 Pilot-in-Command hours; 75 Instrument hours; 75 Night hours (Flight Hour Waiver available, see Required Documents); and 100 Flight hours in the last 12 months This qualification requirement is currently being waived by OPM through August 5, 2025.

FAA Class 2 medical required for assessment dated within the last 12 calendar months; FAA Class 1, FAA Class 2 or Military medical flight clearance dated within the last 12 months qualifies to start the pre-employment process for the AIA position.

These hours may be credited towards satisfying the ""Total flight time"" 1,500 flight hour requirement only. UAS hours do not count towards the 250 flight hours as a Pilot in Command, 75 flight hours Instrument, and 75 flight hours Night. Flight hour logbooks will be required at the time of your Flight Assessment for verification.

Job Summary

Builds relationships with Financial Advisors and internal partners. Develops the skills necessary to successfully underwrite Life, Disability, and/or Long-term Care insurance policies in an inclusive and fast-paced environment ensuring all quality, service and production goals are met.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Field & Client Experience

• ​Responsible for credible and effective relations and communication with field and customer to include responding to case appeals/inquiries and assists with placing business.

• Provides guidance and assistance to the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network and Financial Representatives regarding case underwriting and risk appraisal

• Responsible for prescreen inquiries.

Underwriting

• Responsible for the analysis and appraisal of a broad range of insurance applications; approves, classifies, or declines applications for various ages and policy amounts with guidance, as needed.​

• Independently reviews applications and adheres to underwriting standards and demonstrates an intermediate level of experience with NM product types and changes. ​

• Develops and demonstrates change agility while maintaining mortality and morbidity expectations. ​

• Demonstrates continuous learning through the early adoption of new ways of underwriting. ​

• Develops proficiency with Reinsurance programs and determining where to best place a case.

• Underwrites applications, maintaining industry-leading mortality and morbidity giving the best possible offer that can be made. Provides active case and requirement management and provides customized service with guidance. ​

• Communicates & negotiates with Field Partners to explain modified or declined decisions & assist in policy placement. ​

• Develops proficiency in financial, medical, and lay underwriting assessments and provides innovations solutions to keep Northwestern Mutual as the choice of our customers.

• Actively utilizes the most effective means to obtain the necessary information, including digital health data, Internet searches, direct contact with the insured, and communication with third party advisors (Accountants, Attorneys, etc.) with limited guidance.

• Discusses cases with peer reviewers with medical and technical staff, as needed. ​

• Understands and meets all quality, service, and production goals​.

• Solves issues & escalations, with guidance as needed. ​

• Partners with Underwriting Support for case management

Cross-functional leadership

• May serve as underwriting representative for improvement in product process w/collaboration w/functional partners. ​Participates in other projects as needed.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

• 1.5 years of traditional underwriting experience.

• Analytical skills with the ability to make independent decisions and apply sound judgment in the application of rules.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information, and exercise tact, diplomacy, and resourcefulness.

• Proficient in computer skills and using various software packages.

• Ability to work accurately while maintaining speed and flexibility in a team and independent production environment.

• Highly organized with the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.

• Displays agility to manage multiple tasks​ and adapt in a changing work environment.
