Southland Holdings, a Southland Holdings company, is currently accepting resumes for an experienced Roadway Foreman to join our team on a large heavy civil infrastructure project in Lake Worth, Florida.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate the activities of crews involved in roadway construction, including grading, paving, excavation, and site preparation.
Provide on-site leadership to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
Oversee and assist with the spreading, rolling, compacting, and finishing of asphalt, base, and subgrade materials.
Monitor work progress, crew performance, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
Interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide daily tasks.
Ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment including graders, rollers, pavers, loaders, and skid steers.
Accurately complete daily reports detailing crew hours, equipment usage, production quantities, and cost codes.
Communicate regularly with Project Superintendents and Project Managers.
Participate in and promote safety training and ensure jobsite compliance.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure work meets contract standards.
Preferred CrewWhile not required, we strongly prefer candidates who can bring a qualified crew with them. Preferred crew members include:

Strong familiarity with equipment and tools used in roadway construction.
Ability to lead, organize, and evaluate crew performance.
Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.

Position Overview
The Speech Therapist is responsible for the delivery of quality patient care according to the patient’s individual physician orders. Care may involve assessments, administering prescribed treatments and therapies, care planning, communication with other members of the patients’ multi-disciplinary team, supply management, emergency management, coordination of care, health promotion and teaching and training family members.

Essential Job Functions:
- Provide Speech Therapy services as prescribed by the physician.
- Follow policies and procedures and conforms to all applicable patient care standards, licensure regulations and state laws.
- Provide a written evaluation defining Speech Therapy needs, goals and expected outcomes in conjunction with referring physician's Plan of Treatment.
- Provide a written Plan of Care for Speech Therapy goals and outcomes
- Maintains the plan of care for assigned patients according to identified Speech Therapy goals and outcomes.
- Participate in coordination of services (including discharge planning), with health care team, physicians, parent/guardians, nurses, and others.
- Maintain patient and company confidentiality.
- Maintain effective communication between staff, health care team members, and family.
- Serves as a resource consultant for clinical staff.
- Provide physicians and Aveanna with written evaluation of patient's needs, goals, and progress.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA accredited college/university
Current and unrestricted SLP license to practice in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- One (1) year of recent experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in an acute care setting preferred

In either case, the husband's sperm, if viable, may be used.
Using an egg donor unrelated to the surrogate carrier eliminates any biological tie. The egg of the surrogate is never used as part of the assisted reproduction process, so that a surrogate is never in the position of delivering her own biological child.
The basic requirements of a woman to serve as a surrogate are:
- Emotionally stable
- Responsible
- In good physical health
- Non-smoker
- Has had at least one successful pregnancy
- Is capable of carrying a child to full term
A woman is not required to fall within a particular age range to serve as a surrogate, but most intended parents prefer a surrogate under the age of 40. For more information on surrogacy please see the documents on the left side of this page.
In Texas, there is a judicial process for validating the Gestational Contract (the contract between the intended parents and the surrogate). Included within the various requirements for having a Gestational Contract validated by a Texas court is that the intended parents must be married and the surrogate must have previously carried a child to term. Additionally, there are residency requirements that apply to either the surrogate or the intended parents, but not both.
Compensation for a surrogate services generally starts in the range of $35,000 - $40,000, for base compensation with over all fees up to 70k, in many cases. The amount of compensation is dependent upon a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, whether the surrogate carries twins, what procedures a surrogate is required to undergo and whether the delivery is vaginally or by cesarean section.
