Primary Care Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
Immediate opening for an experienced full time family nurse practitioner or physician assistant to work at a well-established Primary Care Practice in Southeastern Massachusetts. Responsibilities may include preventative medical care, occupational health services, providing acute care, management of chronic medical conditions, interpretation of diagnostics and the ordering of medications and other therapeutics. The candidate must be a team player with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience, as this position will require the mid-level provider to work independently in collaboration with physician oversight and backup.
Education/Requirements:
- Certified nurse practitioner or physician?s assistant through appropriate national certifying body for adult, family, acute and/or geriatrics care;
- Active Massachusetts State Licensure
- History of 3-5 years of experience working with a diverse primary care population;
- Experience with computer systems, including web based applications, Electronic Medical Records and Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
Other Requirements:
- A passion to be a part of a growing healthcare organization
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities - including prompt medical documentation after patient encounters
- Ability to exercise good judgment and clinical decision making
