Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking highly skilled Interventional Radiology Physician Assistants or Registered Radiologist Assistants (R.R.A.) to support a growing IR service line across two AdventHealth hospitals in Central Florida: a flagship tertiary hospital in Tampa and a 202-bed acute care facility in Davenport.
This is a procedure-first, weekday-only role focused on high-volume “lite IR” cases designed to improve throughput and expand radiologist capacity within a nationally recognized health system.

Scope of Practice (Lite IR Focus)
This role is ideal for procedural specialists who want to stay hands-on:
- Myelograms / Lumbar punctures
- Paracentesis & Thoracentesis
- Drain placements (abscess, fluid collections)
- Chest tube insertions
- Image-guided bedside and IR suite procedures
These are high-frequency, essential IR procedures that directly support case flow and departmental efficiency.
Schedule & Assignment Details
- Monday – Friday only
- Day shifts (no weekends, no call)
- Coverage across Tampa and/or Davenport locations
- ASAP – Ongoing
Required Qualifications (Strict)
- Physician Assistant with Interventional Radiology experience
OR
- Registered Radiologist Assistant (R.R.A.) – ARRT Certified
R.R.A. Requirements Include:
- ARRT certification in Radiography
- Completion of an accredited Radiologist Assistant program (Master’s or Doctoral level)
- Minimum 1–2 years of clinical radiography experience
- Successful completion of ARRT R.R.A. certification exam
- Adherence to ARRT Standards of Ethics
Role Responsibilities
- Perform selective image-guided procedures under radiologist supervision
- Provide patient assessment, management, and procedural support
- Collaborate with radiologists to increase procedural throughput
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and patient care
