A client of Insight Global is looking for an Associate Distribution Engineer to join their Tampa Team. This person will support the engineering and design of power distribution infrastructure upgrades and storm hardening projects across Florida. Time will be split between customer interactions in the field/over the phone and design/engineering work.
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering.
2+ years of distribution experience
Understanding of basic practices of researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, making sound recommendations and preparing and presenting recommendations.
Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate frequently with customers.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the electric utility industry

What You Need / Basic Qualifications:

What You’ll Do:

We are seeking a highly experienced Remediation Engineer / Project Manager to lead complex environmental remediation projects from investigation through design and implementation. This role is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer who thrives in a consulting environment and enjoys technical leadership, client engagement, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute remediation projects including site investigation, feasibility studies, remedial design, and construction support.
- Serve as Project Manager for multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality control.

Summary

The Distribution Designer is responsible for designing and planning electrical distribution systems.
Responsibilities
- Supporting overhead and underground distribution projects by crafting comprehensive scopes and estimates, conducting calculations, and generating intricate design drawings.
- Evaluate electrical loads for clients and conduct on-site measurements to ascertain accurate field data, including span distances and conductor specifications.

- 7+ years of proven experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
- 2+ years of experience in testing and validating ETL processes and data workflows, including data integrity, transformation validation, and end-to-end data pipeline testing.
- Strong experience with automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java or C#.
- Hands-on experience in API and web services testing using automation tools such as Apache JMeter and Rest Assured.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites for UI, API, and integration testing.
- Experience executing and managing automated test scripts within CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Bamboo.
- Ability to integrate automated test execution into continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows to support automated validation during builds and deployments.
- Experience analyzing test results, troubleshooting failures, and improving reliability of automated test frameworks.
- Good understanding of test orchestration, and automated test reporting in CI/CD environments.
- Good to have: Experience testing applications deployed in cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services.
- Strong collaboration skills with development, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
