The Opportunity:

The One Medical Virtual Medical Team (VMT) is a leading provider of virtual clinical care, providing world-class, convenient, evidence-based virtual medical care to One Medical patients in concert with their primary care providers. Through advanced technology and a team-based approach, we care for patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Employment type:

• Full time 40 hours including evenings and weekends

What you'll be working on:

• Treating patients via tele-health visits, including telephonic triage calls, video visit appointments, and email follow-ups
• Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
• Ongoing collaboration with both virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles
• Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to give exceptional care to patients virtually

Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:

• Completion of Master's Degree in an accredited physician assistant program (MSPAS) and is maintaining an active NCCPA certification
• In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least:
  • 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), OR 2 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
• Currently licensed in NY with ability to obtain additional state licenses
• Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts (every Saturday or Sunday required)
• Current shifts range from (6am-5pm EST, 7am-6pm EST, 8am-7pm EST, 11am-10pm EST, 1pm-12am EST)
• Excellent clinical and communication skills

This is a full-time virtual role.

The base hourly range for this role is $59.10 to $65.50 per hour (plus evening and weekend differential) based on a full-time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule. Clinicians conduct mental health assessments for all Unaccompanied Children (UC) in care, as well as provide ongoing individual and group counseling.

The ideal candidate for our program is:

• A self-motivated and dedicated person who is excited and passionate about helping infants, toddlers, and families grow in development and in education.
• You are a personable, energetic, and empathetic leader who can manage multiple staff, managers, and multiple projects in a prior project in a prioritized manner to meet our internal Urban Strategies goals of all current Head Start Performance Standards.

• Education: Master's degree in social work, LMFT, Counseling or other relevant behavioral science in which clinical experience is a program requirement.
• Experience: Desired - Two years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience, group and individual counseling and related treatment services.
• Credentials: Must be registered within their state of residence to provide supervised therapy. A copy must be provided to HR.
• Competencies: Diversity, Communication, Time Management; Trauma, Group and Individual Counseling, Sexual Abuse Management; Leadership, Teamwork, Community Approach.
• Skills: Office 0365, Bilingual (English Spanish)

• Utilize trauma theory and brief therapeutic techniques to work with unaccompanied children entering the United States during a typical stay of 30-35 days.
• Provide individual and group counseling, and screening for human trafficking concerns.
• Conduct mental health assessments of all children admitted to the UC program.
• Provide ongoing individual and crisis intervention.
• Prepare goal-oriented diagnostic assessments, group counseling, staff training and program enrichment.
• Provide guidance to all members of the program staff.
• The Clinician will carry up to 12 cases.
• Upon request, this role may be required to travel with UC, 14 and under, to locations in the United States.
