Associate attorney needed for past-paced growing injury law firm in Myrtle Beach. Starting salary $85,000 to $110,000 in year 1 based on experience plus bonuses.

Position Details: Associate Attorney will be working directly with an experienced litigation attorney. Attorney will have opportunities for regular bonuses, promotion and career advancement. Our firm has a team of paralegals and support staff to assist.

Attorney will assist in taking depositions, hearings, drafting motions, negotiations, trial work, discovery, communicating with clients and solving problems to achieve quick solutions for our clients and team. Our firm is dedicated to legal excellence and being relentless for justice for our injured clients. We are an injury law firm focused on helping people who were injured in an accident.

Experience in personal injury claims and workers' compensation or litigation is preferred but not required. The ability to work well with others as a team is important. Starting salary depends on experience and qualifications. Retirement benefits will be offered. Position includes 3 weeks paid time off per year to start for year 1 in addition to paid designated Holidays. We close at 4pm on Fridays.

Requirements:

We will consider candidates sitting for the Bar Exam; however, attorney will need to become licensed to practice law in South Carolina. Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school is required.

Our client is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their Myrtle Beach team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is adept at managing a rapid workflow and excels in organizational efficiency, communication, and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Review case materials, pleadings, and incoming mail; maintain calendars and monitor all deadlines.
• Support discovery efforts by preparing draft responses and organizing document production.
• Conduct client and witness interviews and compile summaries of key facts and discovery findings.
• Request, obtain, and evaluate records such as medical files, SLED reports, driving histories, personnel documents, FOIA responses, and project records.
• Perform approved online research, including social media and general internet searches.
• Draft deposition notices and subpoenas, and assist with preparations for depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Create medical chronologies and develop comprehensive case summaries.
• Support settlement processes by preparing related documents and ensuring accurate completion and filing.
• Achieve monthly billing targets.

Preferred Qualifications

• Four-year degree and/or paralegal certificate
• Prior litigation paralegal experience
• Strong communication skills
• Demonstrates a professional presence with strong attention to detail.
