This Registered Nurse (RN) will care for the following Critical and Intermediate Care specialties:

What You'll Do in This Role:

This position will work the following:

Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from date of hire
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year
Must Meet the Following Qualifications:
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Current ICU RN with a minimum of 9 months’ experience or within the last year as an ICU RN (equivalent to 1248 hours). Including experience with various vasoactive medications, mechanical ventilation, and hemodynamic monitoring.
Definition: these hours could come from a combination of varied FTE’s or hours worked within the last year to equate to 1248.

Key Responsibilities:
General x-ray: Performing supervised and unsupervised x-ray exams in an outpatient & inpatient setting
Providing optimal patient care utilizing established and accepted techniques during administration of ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging that is appropriate for the age of the involved patient population (ages 0 to death)
Upon proven competency, operators are limited by the exams they can perform on small children and babies. Evaluation of abilities is approved and documented by a manager or QA Tech
Safe transfers of patients to and from wheelchairs/carts with knowledge of safe handoff
Assist with department workflow by completing exams in EPIC/PACS and cleaning/stocking exam rooms
Following instruction from staff technologists and establishing good communication with other departments

Calibrates, operates, and performs routine maintenance on EEG and EMG equipment
Educational Requirement:
Associate's degree or Higher or a graduate of an accredited institution for Neurodiagnostic Technology
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous EEG and NCV experience in an acute hospital setting or ambulatory care setting
Certification/Licensure Requirements:
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 3 months from date of hire
