Key Responsibilities:
- Performing fitness assessments and consultations
- Interpreting and formulating personalized exercise programs for members
- Orientate members in safe and proper use of weight and aerobic equipment, and take care of scheduled maintenance of such equipment
- Teach exercise and fitness classes as needed
- Train new fitness staff in the policies and procedures of Essentia Health
This is a casual, or as needed, position at Center for Personal Fitness at Essentia Health - Miller Hill Health Plaza in Duluth.
Hours of Operation:
- Duluth: 5:30am – 10pm Mon – Fri, 7am- 6:30pm Sat & Sun (arrive 30 min prior to open!, shift splits at 12pm on weekends)
- Primarily need to fill in evenings/weekends
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 6 months from date of hire
In this position your job duties would include but not limited to: triage, assessments, patient educations, manage in-basket, assist as needed with rooming patients, giving medications etc.
9a-7p weekday hours
8a-5p weekend hours
Holiday required
You will be trained at multiple sights as you will float to as each as needed.
