Title: QA Test Manager
Location: Austin, TX – Onsite -- ONLY LOCAL CANDIDATES

JOB DESCRIPTON
- Perform highly advanced managerial tasks related to QA and testing activities as well as analysis and testing tasks related to software development and configuration.
- Responsible for activities during all phases of the system development life cycle including analyzing, diagnosing and resolving reported software problems and troubleshooting system issues for internal and external clients.
- Define and review the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategy specific to TDLR modernization projects (guidance to team during “Soft UAT” as well) and align resources and Subject Matter Experts (SME) for all review and testing activities.
- Coordinate sprint review feedback with Vendor staff and business SMEs.
- Review of Test Cases received from Vendor with SMEs and suggest edits.
- Work with business users and SMEs to create and update test cases, perform testing, and provide test results/reports (i.e. success/pass, defects, issues/concerns, etc.).
- Act as the main point of contact between IT Division, business users, and Vendor.
- Lead triage efforts and the tracking, prioritizing, and managing of defects.
- Review defects for themes, conduct root cause analysis, and suggest improvements.
- Provide and review weekly updates on UAT progress and results.
- Provide testing-related project status updates, progress on defects, and check progress on requirement traceability and coverage.
- Ensure UAT exit criteria are met and obtain final sign-off from the business.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager
Required:
- Oversee user acceptance, performance, accessibility, interface, security, and data conversion testing
- Manage, perform, monitor, and report on test activities on modern technology platforms
- Review, update and create test strategy, suites, and cases
- Document and report test results, data conversion and integration issues/concerns, and problem incident reports (PIRs)/defects statusts (PIRs)/defect status
- Provide training and mentoring of testing team members
- Coordinate scheduling of testing staff, test activities, and meetings
- Experience with test tools such as Jira, TestSavvy, JUnit, Selenium, Microfocus UFT, SQL, etc.
- Experience and understanding of the full software life cycle with specific emphasis on the testing discipline. Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organization, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Performance monitoring tools such as JProfiler, JMeter, etc.

Role Overview
As a Patient Support Nurse at CareSimple, you will serve as a key liaison between our patients and clinical partners. You’ll build ongoing relationships with patients, conduct proactive outreach, monitor and respond to patient-generated health data alerts, and provide compassionate clinical guidance to help patients stay engaged and safe between provider visits. You’ll also guide patients through onboarding and device setup, address questions and concerns, and escalate clinical issues as needed. Utilizing our support ticket system, you will manage key logistics processes to ensure seamless delivery and support for remote monitoring devices, playing a critical role in the success of our RPM programs.
Responsibilities
- Patient Support & Care: Guide patients through initial onboarding and setup of their RPM devices with empathy and professionalism. Provide ongoing patient care touchpoints — answering clinical questions, offering health education, and supporting patient engagement and adherence throughout the monitoring program.
- Patient Alert Management: Monitor incoming patient health data alerts generated by RPM devices (e.g., out-of-range vitals, missed readings). Assess alert severity, apply clinical judgment to determine appropriate response, and take action following established protocols and clinical judgement, whether that’s direct patient outreach, care coordination, or escalation to the provider team.
- Technical Coordination: Provide basic troubleshooting for cellular-enabled devices and escalate issues via internal support tickets. Work cross-functionally to ensure timely resolution of technical concerns.
- Device Logistics Oversight: Coordinate device ordering and fulfillment, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Manage exceptions (e.g., reshipments, replacements, returns) and monitor the glucose supply auto-replenishment program. Track high-priority orders and proactively address risks to prevent delays.
- Documentation: Ensure clear and timely documentation across internal systems and, when applicable, in the customer’s EHR.
Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN license in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Preferred: Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
- Preferred: Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) certification
- 5+ years of clinical experience, preferably in telehealth, home health, or primary care

Essential Job Functions

St. David's South Austin Medical Center, is a 368‑bed acute care hospital within St. David’s HealthCare, offering comprehensive specialty and sub‑specialty services. Key programs include a nationally accredited oncology program featuring the region’s only adult Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program; a Level II trauma center; advanced cardiac, stroke, and orthopedic services; full‑service maternity and newborn care; and four community emergency centers in Bee Cave and Bastrop.
The facility is affiliated with the Texas Institute for Robotic Surgery, providing advanced robotic capabilities for orthopedics, open heart and lung procedures, complex GI surgery, surgical oncology, general and colorectal surgery, and urology.
