The unit includes a 28 bed fully monitored unit.
We provide high acuity care to critically ill post-operative cardiothoracic, vascular patients, and medical overflow.
Common therapies seen on 4D are chest tubes management, lytic therapy, antidysrhythmic, low dose vasopressors, Bipap and high flow oxygen systems, insulin drips, and precedex.
4D works closely with Neuro Trauma PCU and ICUs for opportunities to cross train between departments.
We are part of the Critical Care Cluster, which includes all ICUs and PCUs.
4D offers you the chance to deliver compassionate care in a setting that is busy, team oriented, and fulfilling.
