Border Patrol Agents are eligible to select from an array of federal employment benefits that include health, dental and other insurance plans, a generous annual and sick leave program, and participation in the Thrift Savings Plan, a retirement plan akin to a traditional ROTH 401(k) offering.

Typical assignments include: Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and custom laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions to include using infrared scopes during night operations Interpreting and following tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry of persons or contraband Performing farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, and transportation checks Patrolling the international boundary and coastal waterways using a variety of government assets such as vehicles, horses, vessels, watercraft, off-road vehicles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and motorcycles for the accomplishment of the USBP Mission.

Qualifications You qualify for the GL-5 grade level if you possess one of the following: Experience: One (1) year of general work experience that demonstrates the ability to take charge, make sound decisions, and maintain composure in stressful situations; to learn regulations, methods, and techniques through classroom training and/or on-the-job instruction; and the ability to gather concise information through questioning, observation, and examination of documents and records; OR Education Substitution: A bachelor's degree or successful completion of a full four-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; OR Combination of Experience and Education: A combination of general work experience AND successfully completed college education.

You qualify for the GL-7 grade level if you possess one of the following: Experience: One year of specialized work experience that shows you have the skills necessary to: Make sound judgments and decisions in the use of firearms.

Analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions where you will be expected to make arrests after the completion of required training and apply these skills in a law enforcement capacity such as criminal code enforcement, determining violations of laws, correctional or rehabilitation work involving criminal offenders, security, military, etc.

The above experience will be applied in connection with the following: Make arrests and exercise sound judgment in the use of firearms; deal effectively with people in a courteous manner in connection with law enforcement matters; analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions; or develop and maintain contact with a network of informants.

Education Substitution for the GL-7 grade level: A bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement, which is based on (1) class standing, (2) grade-point average (i.e., GPA of 3.0 or higher out of a possible 4.0), or (3) honor society membership.

Or will receive a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement.

Or one full year of graduate-level education in a field of study related to law enforcement (e.g., criminal justice, homeland security, justice studies, law enforcement, courts and judicial systems, forensic technology, forensic psychology, or corrections and rehabilitation) from an accredited college or university; OR A Combination of Experience and Education: This will be calculated using your resume and official or unofficial transcripts submitted with your application.

Other Requirements Citizenship : You must be a U.S.

Residency : You must have had primary U.S.

residency (includes protectorates as declared under international law) for at least three of the last five years.

Age Restriction : In accordance with Public Law 100-238, this position is covered under law enforcement retirement provisions.

Candidates must be referred for selection to the Border Patrol Agent position before reaching their 40th birthday in accordance with Department of Homeland Security Directive 251-03.

The age restriction may not apply if you are currently serving or have previously served in a federal civilian law enforcement (non-military) position covered by Title 5 U.S.C.

Border Patrol work requires the ability to speak and read Spanish, as well as English.

Border Patrol Agents will be provided training to become proficient with the Spanish language at the Academy.

This role will research and draft agreements, policies, and procedures, perform legal research on state and federal laws, retain and supervise outside counsel where applicable, provide legal education/training to various Honda entities, manage risks by identifying countermeasures, and undertake projects to proactively identify issues and take steps to implement countermeasures.

Key Accountabilities
  • Direct and Indirect Commercial Support: Provide high quality advice and negotiation, in a timely and cost-effective manner, to enable Honda Companies and/or divisions to meet legal obligations and reduce risk for moderate to complex commercial transactions. This includes negotiating and managing high value/critical contracts for direct automotive parts, raw materials, & dealer service parts contracts, capital production equipment & other facility and production related contracts, as well as supply chain contracts, service agreements, and logistics contracts. Support and lead special projects and other commercial and law initiatives. Advise business teams on commercial disputes involving suppliers and work with team to resolve disputes for applicable Honda entities. Manage applicable outside counsel and fees, to reach the best long-term solution for Honda in moderate to complex matters.
  • Knowledge management: Follow changes in all relevant international, federal and state laws and regulations, and exchange and share legal knowledge within the applicable Honda entity/division/department, as well as train Honda business and law associates in legal best practices, to improve the awareness, quality and effectiveness of the legal function.
  • Projects: Participate in the planning, execution, and leadership of assigned projects with a regional focus.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
  • Juris Doctorate Degree from an Accredited Law School
  • Β Admittance to state bar in a state in the U.S., and will be either admitted to the North
    Carolina bar or eligible to qualify for in-house practice in North Carolina
  • At least 10 years of in-house, law firm, or other equivalent legal experience, good
    knowledge of the areas of Contracts and Commercial legal practice areas. Aviation
    experience is preferred but not required

Job Purpose

The Flight Test Maintenance Technician supports experimental aircraft programs by installing, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft systems across multiple platforms. The role involves hands‑on work with flight controls, landing gear, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and engines to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant aircraft performance throughout flight test operations. As part of a new aircraft certification program, the technician contributes to the development, integration, and validation of next‑generation systems that advance the aircraft toward regulatory approval and entry into service.

Key Accountabilities
  • Perform all aircraft maintenance as required to support mission readiness; inspect, test, adjust, and repair aircraft mechanical systems including flight controls, landing gear, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel, and engines.
  • Support aircraft repairs and modifications for experimental aircraft.
  • Perform pre‑ and post‑flight inspections; remove and install engines; rig flight controls; remove, install, and rig landing gear; and carry out additional related maintenance duties.
  • Test mechanical equipment under simulated or actual operating conditions to determine performance and airworthiness, using test equipment, such as hydraulic test stand, pressurization test stand, tension meters and bore scope etc.
  • Adjust, replace, or repair defective components based on analysis of functional test results, following blueprints, schematics, handbooks, and other technical documents.
  • Perform, document, and verify engineering changes, modifications, and updates; maintain accurate records for inspection and compliance.
  • Collaborate with system engineers on design changes, modifications, and troubleshooting.
  • Operate ground support equipment safely and support ground operations for flight‑test activities.
  • Perform ground operation and line service for experimental operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed in compliance with FAA and company standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; comply with FOD control, tool control, 5S, PPE, and all safety programs.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Applicable work experience minimum 3-5 years required.
  • Hands‑on experience with aircraft repair or modification.
  • Experience with experimental aircraft or R&D programs preferred.
Job Dimensions
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in mechanical, airframe, and powerplant systems including installation, repair, and fabrication.

What We're Looking For:
  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license.
