Position Purpose:
This position accepts the responsibility and accountability for the delivery of patient care during the cardiology patients’/families’ stay through the use of the nursing process. Directs patient/family education and delegates to ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.

GENERAL PATIENT CARE - Meets the comfort and hygiene needs of the patient.
TECHNICAL CARE - Assists with completion of patient testing and treatment procedures, sets up and primes IV tubing, 12-lead ECG, simple tracheostomy suctioning and care, changes dressings, performs cardiopulmonary resuscitation, obtains wound and throat cultures.
EQUIPMENT - Assists physician and professional staff in equipment supply and set up.
TRANSPORT - Assists with ambulating patients with assistive devices such as crutches and with transfer/transport procedures.

Full Time Inpatient RN Case Manager - weekday shifts with minimal weekend and holiday requirements.
CARE COORDINATION: The Inpatient RN Care Manager works with the multidisciplinary team including physicians, staff, and payers to ensure patient's progress along the continuum of care in an efficient and cost effective manner that ensures quality outcomes. In this role the sonographer, under the general supervision of an attending radiologist, and in accordance with department protocols, the ultra-sonographer utilizes high frequency sound waves and other diagnostic techniques to produce and evaluate ultrasound images and related data which is used by physicians in rendering a medical diagnosis resulting in quality patient care.

Position Purpose:
The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT), within the Ohio Scope of Practice, provides therapeutic procedures and diagnostic testing to chronically and acutely ill patients requiring respiratory procedures.

Maintain current BLS certification.

10‑hour Nigh; (8:30 PM–7:30AM)
12-hour Day; (7:00 AM–7:30 PM)
12‑hour Night; (6:30 PM–7:00 AM)
Rotation: Monday–Friday with rotating weekends & holidays

What You’ll Need
Experience
Required: 1–2 years of relevant experience
Education
Required: Associate’s degree or equivalent training
Preferred: Degree in Radiologic Technology
Licensure & Certifications
R.T. (R) (ARRT) or R.T. (CT) (ARRT)
IEMA License
CPR (AHA only)
R.T. (CT) certification required within 13 months of hire
(Agency staff must have CT certification at start)
