Perform routine maintenance and repair on gaming machines, equipment, and hardware under supervision and continued on-the-job training. Perform common floor calls without supervision and works towards competency and proficiency.
- Perform immediate, periodic, and overhaul maintenance on gaming machines, equipment, and hardware.

Responsible for the heavy-duty cleaning/sanitation of kitchen equipment including stoves, hoods, ovens and appliances. Sanitation of stoves/ovens, grills, hoods and steam tables using various body movementsβincluding standing, reaching, climbing and stooping for periods of time. Change oil in deep fryerβlift fryer and drain oil, either by lifting the fryer bucket and/or releasing the drain lever on the bigger units. Clean fryer using scouring pad in a circular motion, replace oil.

Provide direct and general supervision to culinary team in assigned shift to ensure quality food preparation and guest satisfaction while supporting the companyβs vision, mission, and values. The Sous Chef must have the ability to effectively interact and communicate with guests and team members. Job Description
The EVS Attendant will maintain the cleanliness and safety of an assigned area throughout a shift. The EVS Attendant will implement the highest degree of professionalism in EVS and adhere to policies, procedures, and guidelines set by the EVS Manager.

- The EVS Attendant will insure that every guest is offered a warm personalized guest experience.
- Sweep all paper and other trash in an assigned area and dump trash in proper location.
- The EVS Attendant will clean, dust and wipe down all surfaces in assigned area.
- Empty and clean all ashtrays in assigned area.
- The EVS Attendant will use proper safety and care with equipment and tasks for your own safety as well as the guests and fellow team members.
- Sweep and or mop floors in designated or assigned areas.
- The EVS Attendant will clean and restock restrooms as volume dictates.
- Detail cleaning of restrooms or other assigned areas.
- Chemical use is a necessity. Chemicals include: citrus cleaner, glass cleaner, wood polish, wax, etc.
- Communication skills are required due to direct guest contact.
- Other projects or duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
- The EVS Attendant will attend shift and departmental meetings.
- Follow Company and departmental policies and procedures.
- The EVS Attendant will follow established key, radio, and chemical procedures.
- Cross-train in areas as assigned or scheduled.

- Six (6) months prior experience preferred.
- Possession of, and ability to obtain and maintain a valid drivers and gaming license within assigned state of employment and other jurisdictions
- Must successfully pass background check
- Must successfully pass an alcohol and drug screening
- Must be 21 years of age
- Delivers superior internal and external guest service in Boyd Style.

The Kitchen Steward (dishwasher) is responsible for the tasks assigned by the Steward Assistant, Executive Steward, Chef De Cuisine, and Sous Chef. Coordinate materials and equipment to maintain cleanliness/sanitation of work station, and communicate problems/concerns to supervisor or kitchen management.

- The Diswasher (Steward) will maintain sanitation levels.
- This position requires considerable physical activity on a continuous basis throughout the shift including working in confined spaces and awkward positions, requiring standing, crouching, kneeling, stooping and reaching overhead.
- The Diswasher (Steward) has the ability to comprehend product labeling instructions to enable the safe application of products.
- Maintain inventory of supplies needed to perform job function.
- The Diswasher (Steward) will insure the cleanliness of all floors, walls, dishes, pots, etc.
- Insure βWet Floorβ signs and other markers are used.
- The Diswasher (Steward) will make sure kitchen workers have and use the proper equipment necessary for the job (gloves, goggles, chemicals, etc.).
- Insure that all equipment functions properly.
- The Diswasher (Steward) will always conduct oneself in a manner that reflects a positive professional image.
- Assist in training all kitchen workers in all aspects of safety.
- The Diswasher (Steward) will train kitchen personnel on proper chemical usage and safety applications.
- Maintain the levels and standards of cleanliness and safety set by Ameristar Casino St. Charles and the Health Department.
- The Diswasher (Steward) will have the ability to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, move or push goods on a cart weighing a maximum of 50 lbs on occasion.
(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)
- 1 (one) year kitchen cleaning experience.
- Flexible to work any day, any shift.
- Familiar with the handling of cleaning chemicals and compounds
- Familiar with cleaning of all types of kitchen equipment.
- Ability to successfully complete the Serve Safe training class
- Possession of, and ability to obtain and maintain a valid drivers and gaming license within assigned state of employment and other jurisdictions
- Must successfully pass background check
