We are seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist to provide locum tenens support near Skippack, Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced generalist anesthesiologist to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

• Start Date: January 27, 2025
• Duration: Ongoing assignment with a preference for full-time availability.
• Schedule:
  • Monday through Friday
  • 10-hour day shifts only
  • No call required
• Setting:
  • Both inpatient and outpatient
  • Facility includes 24 operating rooms in a 720-bed hospital
• Patient Demographics:
  • Age range: 1 year and older
  • Average of 50 patients per shift

• General anesthesiology cases only; no cardiac anesthesia required.
• Cases include:
  • General surgery, orthopedic, trauma, OB, neuro, vascular, and regional anesthesia.
  • Excludes cardiac and pediatric cardiac cases.
• Skills required:
  • Epidural and spinal anesthesia
  • Regional blocks (including post-operative extremity blocks)
  • Ventilation and central line management

• Board Certification in Anesthesiology
• Active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum of 2 weeks of availability per month preferred, with full-time coverage highly desirable.
• Must have a clean malpractice history and NPDB.
• Experience with EPIC EMR is required.

• Collaborative team of anesthesiologists, LPNs, anesthesia techs, and NPs.
• No supervision of advance practice providers required.
• Travel and lodging support available for qualified candidates.

Our OBGYN department is a Level III NICU (newborn to all weeks). We currently have 3 office locations where we see patients. We have a practice manager who oversees all 3 locations along with an office manager who manages his/her own location independently. Each location has ample support staff including a patient service representative, billing specialist, and MA support.
