Harvest Supervisor – Full-time, On-site

Role Overview:

Oversee and coordinate pork processing floor operations, ensuring full compliance with USDA, HACCP, GMP, and animal welfare standards. Lead and develop a team of hourly employees in a fast-paced production environment located in southwestern Minnesota, near the South Dakota and Iowa borders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise kill floor operations to meet production targets
  • Ensure compliance with USDA, HACCP, GMP, and animal welfare standards
  • Monitor humane handling and stunning procedures
  • Lead, train, and discipline hourly employees
  • Enforce safety policies and maintain strong safety culture
  • Communicate with QA, maintenance, and management to resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate production, attendance, and incident records
  • Address employee concerns, assist with language/cultural barriers
  • Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of the kill floor

Required Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years supervisory experience in pork/red meat processing
  • Prior kill floor experience
  • Strong knowledge of USDA regulations and animal welfare
  • Ability to lead diverse teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Flexible hours including weekends
  • Able to work in cold, wet, noisy environments
  • Stand and walk for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
