POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an energetic, driven, and experienced Shop Foreman to lead our production floor. This is a pivotal leadership role at the heart of our operation โ the person who keeps all the moving parts in sync. You will serve as the primary liaison between the shop floor and our engineering, project management, finishing, and shipping/receiving departments, ensuring that every project is executed to the exacting standards our clients expect.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Production & Scheduling
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย Oversee and manage end-to-end production schedules from project award through final delivery, ensuring on-time completion across all active projects.
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย Coordinate manpower allocation, assigning work based on production schedules, available labor, and individual skill sets.
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย Monitor project progress daily, identify bottlenecks or risks early, and adjust plans proactively to keep projects on track.
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย Serve as the central hub of communication between the shop floor, engineering, project management, finishing, and shipping/receiving departments.
Leadership & Team Development

Safety & Compliance

โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย Lead a proactive safety culture โ identifying and addressing hazards before they become incidents.
Equipment & Facilities
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย Develop and manage a weekly shop maintenance program to ensure all equipment operates safely and at peak performance.
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย Coordinate equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, and the acquisition and integration of new machinery or tooling.
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shop environment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in a professional woodshop setting, with a high level of proficiency in woodworking techniques, materials, and construction.
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย Minimum 3 years of direct supervisory or management experience, preferably in a woodworking or custom manufacturing environment.
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย Deep knowledge of wood species, engineered materials, sheet goods, hardware, joinery methods, and millwork assembly techniques.
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย Demonstrated ability to operate a wide variety of woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and skillfully.
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย Proven ability to read, interpret, and work from architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
โขย ย ย ย ย ย ย Strong organizational skills with experience managing complex, multi-project production schedules.

- Responsible for the pet parent experience and outcomes conducted in person, over the phone and at the sales register.ย
- Greets pet parents, answers their questions and assists with making reservations in the salon.ย

- Independently performs full menu of bath and brush services and standalone services, such as nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services, as well as standalone services for cats*, in accordance with PetSmartโs bathing standards and procedures.ย

- Ensures a safe environment for our associates, pets, and pet parents.ย
