Construction Superintendent

A well-established commercial general contractor is looking for a Construction Superintendent. We are a family-oriented company and will pay top wage for top workers.

Duties include:

• Coordinate and supervise all onsite project construction
• Regularly interact with and maintain good working relationship with owner, project manager, subcontractors, architects, material suppliers, and other employees
• Ability to supervise and direct all subcontractors and material suppliers to achieve project completion on schedule, within budget, per plans and specifications
• Coordinate weekly subcontractor meetings to identify conflicts in the process that may affect progress and communicate with Project Manager for resolution
• Maintain a safe work site, encouraging safe work practices and conducting weekly safety meetings for employees and subcontractors
• Regularly report to Project Manager with daily updates and communication of any RFIs and/or change orders in the field
• Interpret contracts and company policies/regulations
• Monitor and ensure project quality
• Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions
• Complete punch list identification and completion
• Possess carpentry or trim carpentry skills that will be used for self-performing various tasks. Concrete, Structural steel, rough carpentry, specialties, building layout, doors and hardware experience and knowledge required
• Use Project Management software (Procore)
