Job Details What Youβll Do (a.k.a.
your superpowers) Support attorneys in labor & employment litigation from intake through resolution Draft, format, proofread, and file legal documents (pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence) Manage court filings (state & federal) and track deadlines like your life depends on it Coordinate calendars, hearings, depositions, and mediations Handle client communications with professionalism and empathy Maintain and organize case files (digital + physical) Assist with trial prep, exhibits, and binders Keep attorneys sane by staying two steps ahead What Weβre Looking For 2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary (Labor & Employment or litigation experience = gold star ) Strong knowledge of court rules, filing procedures, and legal formatting Excellent written and verbal communication skills Obsessed (in a healthy way) with details, deadlines, and organization Comfortable juggling multiple cases without dropping the ball Proficient with MS Office and legal case management systems Professional, reliable, and calm under pressure Nice to Have (but not required) Experience with wage & hour, discrimination, retaliation, or wrongful termination cases Trial preparation experience E-filing experience in California courts Why Youβll Love This Role Work closely with experienced attorneys who value strong support staff Stable, professional environment with long-term growth potential Meaningful work in a fast-moving, impactful practice area Competitive compensation and benefits package Interested in hearing more?
