Schedule and Coverage Start Date: ASAP, as soon as credentialed Coverage: Scheduled shifts with no on-call requirement Shift Details: Day shifts, 8 hours each, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour unpaid lunch Contract Length: 3 months, with the possibility of extension Weekly Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week; optional Saturday hours available at an overtime rate Work Details Practice Setting: Outpatient ambulatory setting Support Staff: Dedicated medical assistant for each provider Receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians Onsite healthcare administrator and pediatrician Amount of Coverage Needed: Full-time, 40 hours per week Patients Per Day: Up to 18 patients; the volume may vary, but the provider should be comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Patient Population: Newborns to geriatrics; the provider should be comfortable working with all age groups Department Description: The clinic serves a diverse population, including migrants and refugees, and offers interpretive services onsite.
Providers should have experience or a strong interest in working with vulnerable populations.
Services include outpatient ambulatory care, family medicine, walk-in/acute care, and chronic disease management.
The role may include same-day walk-in patients.
EMR System: EPIC Special Procedures: Basic procedures such as injections, IUD placements, and minor wound care Skills Required: The ability to start providing patient care by the third day after a one-week orientation Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage a broad range of primary care needs Requirements Board Certification: Required License: Active Washington state license required; non-licensed candidates will not be considered DEA: Active Washington DEA required Certifications: Additional certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS) may be required and will be discussed during credentialing Minimum Experience: Must have a clean background with no history of malpractice.
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner with recent face-to-face patient contact is required.
