Inventory Control / Quality Assurance Associate
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Control / Quality Assurance Associate to join our team at our Las Vegas, NV fulfillment center. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring product quality standards are met, and supporting operational efficiency throughout the warehouse. This position plays a vital role in maintaining inventory integrity and upholding quality compliance within a fast-paced distribution environment.
Inventory Control- Perform daily cycle counts and full inventory audits to ensure system accuracy.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies between physical counts and Warehouse Management System (WMS) records.
- Monitor product movement and transactions to ensure proper documentation and system updates.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and generate reports to track trends and variances.
- Assist with inventory adjustments, transfers, and returns processing.
- Conduct routine quality inspections on inbound and outbound shipments.
- Verify product labeling, packaging, and documentation for compliance with company standards.
- Identify damaged, defective, or non-conforming products and initiate corrective actions.
- Work closely with warehouse leadership to implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain quality logs and documentation for reporting and compliance purposes.
- Partner with warehouse associates and supervisors to ensure adherence to inventory control procedures.
- Assist with root cause analysis related to inventory shrinkage or quality concerns.
- Ensure proper product storage and handling practices are followed.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational accuracy and efficiency.
- Previous experience in inventory control, quality assurance, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and report generation.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, proactive, and team-oriented mindset.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to complete E-Verify documentation.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to transport up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts) preferred.
- Ability to work in a distribution center environment, including exposure to varying temperatures, heights, and moderate noise levels.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure in high-volume environments.
