Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently, following traffic laws and regulations, and adhering to hours-of-service requirements
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured, and managing paperwork related to shipments
- Collect delivery instructions from dispatcher, verifying instructions and routes
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report maintenance issues, and perform routine maintenance tasks
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers, maintain accurate trip logs, and document deliveries
