ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS


Assembles tools, equipment, and materials and performs specific work tasks on city-owned grounds.

Supervises a small crew of workers in the maintenance and improvement of City grounds.

Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor.

Has general knowledge of plant and tree varieties and their proper maintenance requirements

including the ability to perform proper pruning techniques on trees and shrubs in accordance with

ANSI standards.

in accordance with the Department of Pesticide Regulation. Maintains application records.

Installs turf, trees, shrubs, and flowers.

Installs and maintains benches, picnic tables, signs and other amenities in parks and beautification areas.

Maintains and adjusts specialized turf care equipment and tools including electric motors, pumps, sprinklers, tractors, mowers, and irrigation systems.
Picks up and disposes of litter, paper, and rubbish from parks, playgrounds, public building grounds, streetscapes, highway rite of ways, sidewalks and beautification areas.

Constructs decorative flower garden borders from wood, bricks and concrete using hand tools.

Prunes, fertilizes, and sprays trees, shrubs, flowers, and lawns, using hand tools and power sprayers.

Repairs and paints benches and assists in repair of roads, walks, buildings, and mechanical equipment, using hand tools.

Assist Horticulturist with scheduling tasks, plant selection and installation, fertilizer application,

irrigation repair and installation and light equipment repair and upkeep. Assist Horticulturist as the site manager of the Community Garden. Plants and maintains the "Vandals Plot". Tills garden plots as needed. Maintains Garden Shed and supplies. Maintains Community Garden grounds. Assists with setting up programs and activities for the gardeners. Communicates with gardeners about issues and monitors activities to ensure that guidelines are adhered to.

Operates skid steer, front end loader, backhoe, trencher, dump truck, etc, for grading, landscape

installation, irrigation, brush cutting/bush hogging rite of ways and detention ponds.



Minimum qualifications & Requirements

Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent with two years of experience in building and grounds maintenance and repair work; or any equivalent of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities. Must have a valid South Carolina driver's license or the ability to obtain one. Pesticide or Herbicide applicator's license desirable.

How you'll change lives

As a Registered Nurse (RN) at US Renal Care, you'll be an integral part of a cross-functional team, working under the supervision of a Charge Nurse and assisting and supervising Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to care for patients living with kidney disease.


What you'll be doing

Patient care. You'll work directly with patients to provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment. Responsibilities include completing and documenting physical assessments before and after treatments and monitoring patients during treatment. You'll ensure quality renal care by completing monthly reviews of patient medication profiles and administering medications according to physician orders.


Teamwork. You'll be a critical member of an interdisciplinary team to provide all required patient assessment and care planning activities. You'll also make sure center staffing requirements are met at all times under the direction of the Administrator and according to state regulations for staffing ratios.


Safety & Quality. Working under the supervision of a Charge Nurse, you'll adhere to all company policies and procedures and state and federal laws and regulations. You'll participate in all required staff meetings and continuing education offerings.

What we're looking for


  • Current nursing license in the applicable state.
  • Confirmation of ability to distinguish all primary colors.
  • One or more years of current nursing experience preferred.
  • Previous dialysis nursing experience preferred.
