University Health is seeking a

board-certified Internal Medicine physician

to serve as

Medical Director of Hospital Medicine .
This physician leader will provide clinical, operational, and quality oversight for the hospitalist program while partnering with hospital administration to deliver high-quality inpatient care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and oversight for hospitalists
Lead recruitment, onboarding and scheduling
Standardize care processes, rounding models, and handoffs
Oversee quality, patient safety, and performance improvement initiatives
Collaborate with ancillary services and hospital leadership
Manage staffing plans, productivity, and resource utilization
Participate in policy development, governance, and compliance activities
Construction is well underway on two new full-service, state-of-the-art hospitals and two multi-specialty health centers by University Health—the largest expansion in our more than 100-year history. POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

What your day-to-day practice looks like:

• Patient population across the lifespan: children & adolescents (treated by board-certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists only), adults, and geriatric patients
• Standard session lengths (60-minute intakes, 30-minute follow ups)

• In-house referral network to therapists

We're seeking a fulltime NP with a minimum of two or more of experience to provide fulltime outpatient care. The NP will work in our Adult and Family Care Clinic, caring for patients as an advanced practice provider performing select medical services.
