The Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center is seeking BC/BE Pediatric, Family Medicine or Adolescent Medicine Physicians to provide primary care in one of our High School-Based Health Centers in Manhattan.
Since its establishment in 1968 as the first primary care program in New York specifically created for the health needs of teens, the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center (MSAHC) has grown to become a model of excellence in adolescent health care nationally and worldwide. B. Teaching: Precepting adolescent medicine fellows, pediatric residents and Icahn School of Medicine medical students in the outpatient setting at the Adolescent Health Center, as well as on serving as attending physician in the inpatient adolescent medicine consultation service at Kravis Children’s Hospital of Mount Sinai Hospital.
C. Research: Opportunities for research including participation in an NIH-funded long-term study of HPV and quality assurance projects, as well as working with adolescent medicine fellows to develop and conduct their fellowship research
D. Administrative: Opportunities for development of new programs and participation on medical school/hospital committees

  • Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.

Position Overview: 

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a full-time Senior Obstetrician to serve on Labor & Delivery and as a Patient Safety Officer. This hospital-based role supports two major campuses and joins an established team dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in a high-acuity, high-volume Labor & Delivery environment. This is a leadership-focused clinical role with direct involvement in complex obstetrical care, real-time decision-making, and system-wide safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities include Clinical Leadership & Complex Delivery Management. 

Supervise and actively participate in the management of anticipated complex and high-risk deliveries, including:

  • Twin vaginal deliveries

  • Hemorrhage

  • Shoulder dystocia

  • Operative vaginal deliveries

  • Management of labor response teams and running hospital-based codes for obstetrical patients. 

  • Support clinical team with some management of labor patients and participate in emergency cesarean section and/or complicated obstetrical surgeries.

  • Provide real-time clinical consultation and decision-making support to the interdisciplinary obstetrical team

Patient Safety & Quality Improvement

  • Promote and monitor adherence to evidence-based obstetric protocols and safety standards

  • Participate in the review of adverse events and near-misses

  • Lead and support implementation of system-level quality and safety improvements

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including obstetricians, midwives, nurses, trainees, and allied health professionals

Academic & Professional Engagement

  • Contribute to trainee education and mentorship

  • Oversee hospital based Advance Practice Practitioners 

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research

  • Engage in leadership development opportunities within a major academic medical center

Schedule

  • 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM; 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

  • Minimum of 12 shifts per month

  • Includes weekends

Salary Range:  

$300,000 to $350,000 annually, plus comprehensive benefits

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology

  • Minimum of five (5) years of continuous active clinical practice in Obstetrics

  • Successful completion of a U.S.-accredited OB/GYN residency program

  • Active New York State medical license

  • Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, high-quality care, and medical education

The Mount Sinai Department of Neurology is seeking Inpatient Neurologists and Pediatric Neurologist in New York, NY.

The Mount Sinai Health System has openings for Full-time Pediatric Neurologist to join our nationally ranked Division of Pediatric Neurology. Applicants are sought at any rank (Assistant, Associate, Professor) with an academic appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai that is commensurate with experience and resume. The chosen candidate must have excellent clinical skills and an interest in outpatient and inpatient pediatric neurology.

Inpatient Neurology:
This part-time/per diem position involves inpatient general neurology work within the New York City based Mount Sinai Health System, where you will provide high quality care for patients with a broad range of complex neurological diseases and neurological manifestations of systemic illness. Acute stroke and neurovascular diseases are not included in this role, as these are separately managed by our world-class Stroke Team. You will frequently collaborate with our superb neurosurgical and neurological subspecialists (particularly in epilepsy and stroke). There is an opportunity to participate in cutting-edge teleneurology coverage for interested candidates. Finally, given the Department’s close connection with the Icahn School of Medicine and multiple residency and fellowship training programs, teaching opportunities may be available for qualified and interested candidates, although this is not a requirement. Opportunities include weekday, weeknight, and/or weekend coverage. Over time, coverage needs may change or be flexible.
