Previous cardiothoracic surgery or cardiac experience is a plus.

Ideal candidates should have some acute care experience.

Responsibilities include overseeing care for patients in the Cardiac Surgery ICU, ranging from CABG and valve replacement to ECMO, aortic dissections, and aneurysm repairs.

Perform bedside procedures within the scope of service, write progress notes, participate in daily rounds, write orders, dictate discharge notes, and contribute to hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.

Work on a 7 on
- 7 off shift schedule from 7 pm
- 7 am, with 12-hour shifts.
