Requirements.
Registered Nurse licensed in CA (unencumbered) Master’s Degree in Nursing (required) 5+ years of clinical nursing experience in past 1+ year of nursing admin management experience in past 1+ year of teaching experience (preferred) Passionate about teaching, mentoring, and creating positive change is a plus.

Job Summary
This position serves the Department as a full-time glaucoma ophthalmologist. A comprehensive list of duties and expectations will be outlined in an MSP Physician contract upon appointment.
Minimum Qualifications
- California medical license
- Board certification required.
- MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) required
- Successful completion of an ophthalmology residency at the time of appointment
- Successful completion of a Glaucoma fellowship at the time of appointment
- Knowledge, training, and skills to treat patients needing comprehensive ophthalmic care at a level expected by the medical staff requirements of UC Davis Health
- Comprehensive understanding of medical and clinical sciences across a range of specialties
- Familiarity with current diagnostic methods, treatment modalities, and evidence-based practices
- Knowledge of public health principles and infection control protocols
- Awareness of ethical, legal, and regulatory standards in healthcare delivery
- Understanding of hospital/clinic policies, documentation systems, and electronic health records (EHR) Skills
