- $40 per hour A bit about us: Seeking a versatile All-Around Machinist with strong hands-on experience in custom machining environments.
This role requires the ability to operate CNC Mazak machines using Mazatrol programming, as well as proficiency with manual mills and lathes.
Ideal candidates have a solid background in custom, one-off, or small-batch machining and can take a job from print to finished part with minimal supervision.

Perform precision machining on manual mills and lathes for custom and prototype work.

Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for various materials and machining operations.
Inspect parts using standard measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to maintain tight tolerances.
Troubleshoot machining issues, adjust programs, and ensure efficient workflow.
Work independently on custom jobs, prototypes, repairs, and short-run production.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Qualifications: Proven experience as a machinist in a custom job shop environment.
Strong CNC Mazak operation and Mazatrol programming skills.
Hands-on knowledge of manual milling and turning operations.
Ability to work from blueprints with high attention to detail.
Solid understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materials.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
