Responsibilities

  • Provide care autonomously to a case load of inpatients in affiliated hospitals
  • Conduct comprehensive or episodic health history, physical assessment, and pre-procedure workups of patients with acute or chronic gastrointestinal health problems
  • Prescribe and regulate medications per prescriptive authority in Washington State
  • Provides guidance and health education to patients to promote and maintain health within gastroenterology practice

  • Collaborates with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients

Washington Gastroenterology has an excellent compensation and benefit package that includes the following:

Employees (and their families) who work full time (defined as working 30 or more hours per week) will be eligible for medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, accidental death and dismemberment, and basic life insurance. In addition employees are able to enroll in our company?s 401(k) plan which includes a company provided safe harbor contribution of 3% of annual earnings and the potential for a company discretionary profit sharing contribution.

All employees will be eligible to accrue PTO at a rate of .04 hours per payroll hour (1.6 hours for a 40 hour week) which can be used for and exceeds the required mandatory WA State and other local ordinances. WAGI provides Malpractice Insurance, a Continuing Medical Education (CME) reimbursement budget of $5,400 per two year cycle; and 5 days of paid CME Time Off per year to complete CME.

A new hire full time employee in this role will be eligible for a Hiring Bonus in the amount of $10,000.

This is an Salaryposition and the anticipated Compensation range is $125,000 - $170,000. The hired applicant is also eligible for annual discretionary bonuses.
