Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel X-Ray Technologist with a minimum of 18 months of experience for a 13-week assignment in a large acute care hospital radiology department in Morristown, NJ.

Details

- Large 900-bed acute care hospital radiology department
- OR imaging experience required, as travelers must be able to work independently in a high-volume setting
- Experience with GE imaging equipment is required
- Epic used for charting
- 3x13 hour overnight shifts per week, 6:00 PM – 7:00 AM, on a rotating 7-week schedule

Requirements

- Minimum of 18 months of experience as an X-Ray Technologist
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- Active NJ State RT License required if applicable
- Current ARRT certification
- Current BLS certification
- Proficiency with GE imaging equipment
- Experience with OR imaging and the ability to work independently
- Proficiency with a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

- Perform imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
- Maintain equipment, assess safety, and ensure patient comfort throughout procedures
- Monitor need for procedure revisions and coordinate daily imaging procedures
- Travelers may be required to float to a nearby sister hospital

Background and Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of hands-on litigation experience representing nursing homes, assisted living, or healthcare providers, including significant trial experience and full-cycle case management
  • Defense experience preferred, with demonstrated insight into plaintiff strategies and case valuation
  • Proven ability to bring a fresh, strategic approach to case prosecution and resolution, including a willingness to challenge traditional defense/insured models and explore innovative litigation strategies
  • Demonstrated record of successful litigation outcomes, particularly in Philadelphia or similarly complex, high-volume jurisdictions, including effective negotiation, settlement, and trial results
