This role ensures the system is secure, scalable, cost-efficient, and fully aligned with DIR’s cloud-first enterprise architecture.

The Architect will be assigned full-time and will work closely with DIR technical teams to support data integration, analytics, document management, and near real-time data movement into the DIR Enterprise Data Platform.

Key Responsibilities Design and implement cloud-native architecture on Google Cloud Platform Lead infrastructure design, security controls, and compliance alignment Ensure performance, scalability, and availability of the Courts solution Architect integrations between the Courts system and: DIR Enterprise Data Lake BigQuery Looker Data Fusion / Dataplex Enterprise Document Management System (EDMS) hosted on GCP Support near real-time transactional data transfer to the Enterprise Data Platform Implement cost optimization strategies and monitor cloud resource utilization Collaborate with DIR stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions Provide technical guidance and documentation to support long-term operational sustainability Mandatory Qualifications Minimum three (3) years of experience in virtualization or cloud-native architectures using Google Cloud Platform Minimum three (3) years of experience serving specifically as a GCP Architect Experience completing two (2) full lifecycle project implementations using GCP Each project must include: BigQuery Looker Google data processing technologies (e.g., Data Fusion, Dataplex) Performance and scalability optimization Demonstrated experience in security, compliance, and infrastructure management Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Must be assigned full-time Preferred Experience Experience supporting enterprise data platforms or data lakes Familiarity with public-sector security and compliance requirements Experience integrating document management systems in cloud environments Interested in hearing more?
