Summary:
Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting.

Summary:
The Physical Therapist organizes and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy programs with the goal being to restore function. The Physical Therapist attempts to prevent disability following disease/injury, while helping the patient reach his/her maximum performance while learning to live with the limits of his/her capabilities.

Responsibilities:
1. Diagnostic Testing - Administers basic & complex diagnostic tests and evaluations in Physical Therapy for the treatment of mobility disorders and related impairments
2. Education - Teach & supervise graduate Physical Therapy students and/or clinical fellows/residents. Develops or contributes to innovative programs to enhance patient care. Serves as resource consultant to other clinicians in respective specialty area.
3. Evaluation of Care - Analyzes results of diagnostic and or therapeutic testing to establish patient goals and or modify subsequent treatment programs. Identifies expected patient outcomes. Communicates relevant information to promote continuity of care.
4. Implementation-- Selects and applies current and advanced techniques to provide quality and efficient rehabilitative services. Provides habilitation/rehabilitation and maintenance of persons with mobility related impairments. Organizes and prioritizes care according to patient/family needs.
5. Outreach/Community Involvement-Serves as resource to North Carolina government departments and statewide health professionals in specialty areas. - Must possess an Associate/Diploma Degree in Health Information Technology (HIT) or Advanced degree in nursing (NP, APN) or Physician Assistant. In absence of college degree, must have three (3) years' experience as an inpatient code or documentation specialist.
- Preferred Certifications: RN, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCDS or CDIP
- Experienced in critical care, medical or surgical inpatient care nursing as an RN, PA, NP, APN or inpatient coder preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration and relationship building skills. Strong critical thinking skills, and ability integrate knowledge. Prioritization and organizations skills required.
- Demonstrated ability to use standardized desktop and Windows based computer system. Data entry and typing skills at minimum 30 wph.
